I don’t believe that it’s been almost a year since I’ve actually blogged!!!! I could say that time flies when you are having fun, and I can’t deny that there has been plenty of fun times this last year … mostly it’s been due to technologic disadvantages … my Netbook is getting old and it’s a nightmare to post from there, the tablet is fine to read, but another nightmare to post from there ….
I have a new laptop so I’m hoping to get back in the swing of things and show more of my work, because I have been creating this past year!!!!
I will probably be adding stuff retrospectively because I have been taking photos, and keeping notes on the things that I have been creating!!!
I hope 2007 will be an amazing year for all of us!!!

Morning everyone … where has this week flown to?
I have a layout that I created on Sunday to share with you … I’m entering it in this month’s Scrap n Pieces challenge which had a lovely mood board and the colour pink!
So here is my take on it:
The background paper is a piece of white cardstock that young hands have drawn on … I keep all my nieces and nephews drawings and recycle use them in my artwork as well!!!
The photo is of Raphaella’s shoes which she wore at my friends Katerina’s wedding in 2013 … I loved her chic shoes and just had to take a photo of them!!!
Lots of pink and bling, and shiny accents!
Close up of foiled stitch … in pink colour!
More close ups!
Well I hope you’ve liked my layout! Have a fab day everyone!!!

Over at the Crafty Life blog they had a colour pallet for their September Challenge! Such beautiful colours, I was attracted to the blue, grey and deep orange … so I looked thru my embellishments … picked up a photo from an envelop on my desk and had a go!!!!
Here is the inspiration pallet:
Here is my take on it:
It was lots of fun to use my stuff for this layout … a favourite selfie of myself and niece from last Christmas holidays!
Journaling on tag, that slides under the photo ….
Some rubons to add depth and dimension … used my stapler to attach title!
Have used difference size foam pads to raise elements differently for interest!
I hope you like this layout! Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Something totally different today …
Here is something that I made for the entrance wall at the school where I work:
The children love to see their photos on the wall … I was behind and had photos up from 2012 … Yikes, but one of my goals is to be more organised this year ….
I created another single board with photos from Christmas 2012 … so will show you soon when I get a photo of it! 🙂
Happy Weekend everyone!!!

Heidi Swapp who a greatly admire for her drive to preserve moments and memories, started a 30 day challenge on Instagram and Facebook on August 2nd.
I quickly put together a minibook by cutting pages up in my sizzix, and decided to take part! It made recording my summer holidays all the more interesting!
Here is the simple cover I made:
… and a couple of interior pages ….
… and the link to the video that I made:

Here is my take on the sketch:
A photo of myself and my friend Michael, taken on my last day of holidays!
I wanted to use the heart element in the sketch, so I used my bigshot to cut from transparency heart shapes to fuse together and fill with bling … here are some close ups of the hearts:
Some more details are the washi tape and elements from my latest Paper Issues kit!!!
I hope you are inspired to play along with us … you have until the 29th to add your link!
