Over at the Supreme Scrap Tournament they are having a doodling challenge this week, and even though I’m out … I wanted to play along, as you all well know I LOVE doodling!!!! You can understand why HERE, HERE, HERE & HERE !!!
The rules were very specific:
General:
Make a scrapbooking layout with lots and lots of doodling on it.
Photos:
– Minimum 4 photos
– No photo’s with people (foreground or background) or parts of people on them.
Use:
– You will have to add doodling ON 2 of the photos. (exactly 2 no more no less)
– Add a handwriten/doodled title directly on the layout
– Add a handwritten journal of minimum 20 words directly on the layout.
– All doodling must be hand doodled!
Well this is my take on it:
Photos are from the beautiful villages of Naxos … and I definitely have been wanting to scrap them for a while!
I took a plain paper in light blue, and misted it in 3 different colours …. let it dry … then attacked it with my pens!!!! LOL
Even on the photos themselves!!!!
Doodles galore, even the elements that I added!
Jounalling going all around, as well as a doodle border …
More close ups!
A bit of honey comb stamping to give it depth …

Another view …
I hope you have enjoyed this as must as I have! 🙂

Hello everyone, it’s not even Friday!!!

I’ve finished my first Daily Journal … I started it way back towards the end of May … 8 months ago, and if I keep in mind that I didn’t write at all during December … the Journal lasted quite a bit!!!!
Here is my last double page:
This past week I’ve been in pain with my leg … it was painful to walk so I’ve spend lots of time lying down. This page was while until Saturday … I was just playing with my promarkers and I made the face in the empty middle of the pages … then coloured in with the markers …
A close up:
Some more close ups:
… and finally ….
I feel so happy that I’ve finished this book and that I have already started a new one!!! 🙂
Thank you for dropping by!!!

Hello everyone, thank God it’s Friday again!!!

I’ve been feeling under the weather this week, and the only thing I’ve managed is my daily journal, a bit of stitching, and correcting tests for work.
Here here is another double page:
I used dilysions mist and a stencil to make a base. Then drew my girl. Love how the pattern of the stencil comes thru her face. I added a pattern around with the same mist and a paintbrush, then added the border around with markers and gesso.
The dates are simple Tim Holtz stickers!
As a finishing touch I went it and stamped dots & circles in archival ink, to give it more dimension.
I enjoy drawing my faces … I chose to make her a blond as it contrasts to the purple.
A closer view … Just make her with acrylic paints … 🙂
I hope you’ve enjoyed my pages, thanks for dropping by!
Hope you’ll be having a great weekend!

This weekend I was coughing, and resting, and coughing, and sleeping, and coughing and coughing …
So I basically disappeared with my stitching and my cough meds and forgot to post this …
But what the heck? Sunday stitching can be posted on a Monday right???

So here is my update of my snakes & ladders rug:
It’s really coming along, I’ve started on the top border this week, even finished a whole snake tongue and all … and two ladders are fully done!!
I have to seriously start thinking about how to place the numbers now! 🙂
Well, I hope you like how this is coming along …
Have a great week everyone!

There is a new Greek Challenge Blog: Scrap n Pieces !!
I wish them good luck in their venture, as it’s always fun to be inspired and to play with other creative souls!!!
So here we go, the challenge says:
The theme this month is "NEW"
The only rule is to use the word "new" in your creation. Other than that, your imagination is the limit!
Use the linkup tool in the right sidebar and show us what you’ve made 🙂
Here is my layout:
This past Sunday, I was really in the mood to create, so I started with just sticking down some washi tape, and a few scraps … then some gesso, misting, masking, some Opaque white flakes with a mask … and that was it for the background!
Close up of the title, 3d opaque flakes, and misting …
Top corner close up!!!
Close up of the picture … doesn’t she look grown up and she sparkles too! 😉
A close up of the journaling … it’s a bit fuzzy unfortunately!
Well, it was fun to make, thank you for dropping by, and why don’t you play with the new challenge blog as well, the more the merrier!!!

Craft barn is back with two new words: Strong & Miss.
I chose strong, but with 10 days ahead of me I may just do another tag with miss!!!
Here is my tag:
Background is dylusions … then with distress ink and I make I did the circles and figure … then with a white pen, I outline to define my silhouette more …
Some see thru embellies with a bit of glitter to add to it!
Another quote that I found off the internet!
Thank you for dropping by!
