WIP stands for: Work in Progress, and at the moment I have two more Christmas stitchings in the work that I wanted to share with you this week!
The first one, a larger challenging one:

Just a very quick post, because I’m done to the deadline date again!!! This fortnight, Q was the letter over at the Craftbarn AlphaChallenge … congratulations on the new blog by the way!!!
I didn’t have many words to choose from, but I decided on quote, and I have been searching quotes these past two weeks, but in the end my enthusiasm for Christmas won, over … and as I’m preparing for my yearly Christmas journal, the quote is so apt!!!
Distress inks, fussy cutting, rubons, my own handwriting, and some dimensional snow … lots of fun!!!

Another two double pages to show you … my journalling has been the more mundane of what I’ve been doing, not in a very reflective mood, but I’ve enjoyed being messy and artistic with the pages …
This weekend some of my students sit for the proficiency exams, so hopefully next week, I’ll be getting home earlier than 11.30 pm!!!

Then we have Nov 9th thru 13th, masking, misting, 3 d paste, stamping with unity stamps, and acrylic ink fun, fun, fun!!!!

This week has busily gone by, full hours at work, trying to correct and mark tests, have students who are sitting for the proficiency exam … I haven’t scrapped ONE bit, and I’m having withdrawal symptoms … but I have been stitching a bit … so today it’s:

Heaven only knows when I had started this … but after a few hours I had:
I have to see the eyes before I can stop when I start something … a few days later:
and then the last stretch!
Of course the real work was stitching the two sides together with a blanket stitch!!!
I’ve already decided where this little guy will go this year, and I truly hope he will be appreciated!!!!

Cross stitching is a true love of mine, and I have been doing it for years. I got a bit side tracked with scrapbooking, but I’ve decided to renew my hobby, and why not, finish one of my endless projects.
So every Sunday on my blog will be:

This week to start off I have to show you, a little Christmas kit that I rescued from my drawer …
As you can see it’s a 1994 Dimensions Kit, made in the USA that had been sent to me, eons ago … To be honest I don’t know how long it’s been sitting in my drawer of stitch projects … But I’ve recently started meeting up with my Stitch group here in Athens, and I’ve joined a Stitch group on Facebook, and out came the needles again.

October is gone and November is here already, so I have two more double spreads from my journal to show you!
Like I’ve said before I really love working in my journal, some days life is so busy, that all I can do is just write in, and then at the weekend I will go back and decorate it … even if it’s just one sentence I will write in it!
During the weekend of October 26th to October 28th I visited Naxos to see the family. I didn’t take my book with me, but I journaled and then I just copied it into my book.
I separated the days using a bit of doodling and the central focus is a freestyle drawing of part of the port of Naxos.
A flag at the top to commemorate the ‘OXI’ that was said on the 28th in 1940!!!
Close up of the doodling … I’ve just used water colours and my black pens for these pages … then a bit of distress inks and a couple of my masks.
For the next double spread, I wanted to show the ‘Halloween’ holiday … we watched a couple of videos at school with the kids, and I had some Spooky stickers for them … So here is the double spread:
