Another project in the making, a new clock, and a card!

Here is another card that I’ve received from Lena, a friend, thru the birthday card …
I have been thinking about what to do with all the lovely cards that I got this year.  I didn’t want to stick them in a box that I would forget.  I didn’t want to stuff them in a drawer.
So I took 5 envelops [16x22cm] and two covers and some pattern paper and make this!
The cover  is printed from the Free you soul Art Project, that I found out about from my friend Elsa’s blog, and I loved this photo for a cover ….
You can see the envelops here better … I plan on making layouts on the pages of the actual birthday celebrations this year … which I hope to finish next weekend as I have another project to work on this afternoon, and two cards to make! 🙂
One final thing, this year my aunt and cousins gave me a present that I chose out … It’s a double phased clock, that hangs on the wall.  It’s fab because you can now see the time from many angles in the house!!
More to say later!

A little storage project!!

This project came about after trying to think up a way of storing my new Nestiblities Dies … My friend Katerina and I were chatting away, and trying to find practical easy storage ideas and I came up with these … I’ve made a little book using plastic CD sleeves, giving a cover and using my BIA to put it all together …. I’ve made a little clasp … by using BG magnets … I placed one under the pattern paper, and the other inside the green one …. so it keeps it together when it’s closed.

I think this will also be an easy way to carry it around with me, and hopefullly now I won’t be losing any!
Off to continue with the creating!

Note: The papers are a Papermania, the Regency pack, which I bought locally from PacoArtCentre … they had it in an A4 size, and a smaller 6×6 pad! 🙂
As for the CD sleeves they have a folding flap, which I’ve tucked into the sleeve, so even if the book is turned over, the dies won’t fall out … I know, I tried! LOL

Happy with the changes so far!!

Well I’m happy with my changes …. had to go and find my links as they did not transfer and some are still missing, but it was a good way to look thru them again ….

But first I … and Saturdays go hand in hand together … and just to give you an example … here is my situation at the moment!

I started the vacuuming at around 12 pm, stopped to mop, then got the ironing out, made lunch, had a sleep, then got on the internet and played around with my blog ….

Situation as it is at this very moment: Only 2 rooms vacuumed … one room mopped, half the ironing done, I’m fed and slept,  but blog is fixed! LOL  Off to finish the ironing and get the rest of the stuff out of the way!!! Have a good evening everyone!

Summer Stitching

Hello everyone … Can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve blogged!
It’s been a busy summer with work and then my holidays …
I’ve been back in Athens since 30th August, but have been incredibly busy and haven’t had a chance to sit down and organize myself! Hopefully this weekend I’ll find some ‘me’ time ….

First off I wanted to show you what I managed to do over my holidays … doesn’t look like much, but it’s another 2 pages finished! 🙂 Yeah, for me!

Scrap-wise I haven’t done anything but a bit of Retail Theraphy,
I have lots of ideas and hope to have something to show you soon, or else I will have blown my budget yet once again! 🙂
