Good evening everyone … prescheduled this post while I still have my cousin’s pc …
My Pc’s Doc is still away to vote … so here we go:

This page only had two entries … I’ve been working on my faces, and this girl was inspired by Jane Davenport’s whimsical face video ….
Not perfect but I love her, although it does seem that I love blue hair eh?
More close up photos:

I have to thank my friend Katerina for the use of her Prisma art bars and acrylic paints …
I hope you have time this weekend for a little bit of art as well!!!!

I know that I joke about my But First I syndrome, but I do really suffer from it! LOL
This layout came about, while I was organising ‘some’ of my diecut pieces into three boxes …
I do have a finished layout, but not my organised boxes yet!!!! LOL
My niece Sofia @ 12 …. she’s turning into a beauty, and I love her to bits!!!!
Some misting and doodling …
Wood veneers panted with promarkers, and white pen details to make them look like shooting stars.
Close up of die cuts!!!
Love tiny details that add meaning for me to the layout ….
I was on a mission to declutter and I ended up with more stuff on my desk!!!! But at least another layout is done!!!

This year, National Scrapbooking Day was on a Saturday [May 3rd] which suited me just perfectly! The Big Picture Classes organised a special event and I was inspired by Stacy Julian and created two layouts using the same concept:
These photos are from a day out with friends a couple of weeks ago … I’ve so happy that I was able to scrap the event, use lots of photos, scraps of my papers, some of my stamps … and tell the story!
Here are more photos they speak for themselves!

There was a goal of reaching 10 000 layouts over 4 days on instagram … they passed the 8,000 mark which I think is fantastic and are still using the hashtag #nsd10k until they read the 10K mark!
I plan on using this template style to scrap more theme layouts … I have so many printed photos that would suit this style, and I enjoy doing it!!!
Have a great week everyone!!!

Good morning everyone … busy week that just flew by, so I’m a bit behind with my blog posts …

But I have been arting, and trying to scrap and organise at the same time, so I do have things to show you!!!
Here is a kick off to May:
I started off with the May, inspired by my continuous practice of my own letter writting! I covers it with liquid masking fluid, as well as the separators for the days ….
Then using a stencil, and dylusion mists I created the flowers and to define them more, the markers came out!
Finally with promarkers I filled in May and created shading, and used white to bring it alive!!!
I hope you all find time to do a bit of Art this weekend!!!

Another Friday and I’m here with once again! 🙂

Sometimes life gets so busy that I don’t even have the energy for the 30 minutes to do the little journalling in my book. I think it’s okay to take a break every now and then … so this is my April Break page! 🙂
Just my ProMarkers, stencil and Dylusion mists … but it was lots of fun!
She’s not perfect but I’m liking her! 🙂
Close up of her face …
I hope you are all finding a bit of time to art today!
Have a great weekend ahead!

I love the colours this month at the Craft Garden challenge:
Welcome to May.
1st May is Lei Day in Hawaii so your challenge is to take this photo as your inspiration

Entry is via the inlinkz button below this post and closes at 23:59 GMT on 30th May 2014. There will be a prize of some paradise coloured flowers for one entry drawn at random after that date. Our rules are that your entry must be created during the month of May 2014 and you can only enter 4 other challenges with the entry for our challenge. This is because we, and other challenge blogs, take time to make our challenges individual and unique. When people enter more than 5 challenges with the same project it takes away that uniqueness. Any entry found to have entered more than five challenges this month will be disqualified.
So here is my take:
Inspired by the colours, I chose recent sea views from my trip to Naxos ….
Some misting in the colours of the photo ….
The flowers to represent the Leis …
Why don’t you drop by the Craft Garden to view more great inspiration and join us this month! We’d love to have you!
