… the story of my life!
Hello everyone!
December 21st … wow, where is this month going!
We finish up at school on Friday, and like every year I like to make something for our a & b junior classes, as they are such cuties and really appreciate it!! So this year inspired by this tutorial and simplifying it quite a bit … I ended up making about 35 pieces in two days … it didn’t take me long, and I loved doing them …
Here is a close up of two of them, and then pictures of the lot!
I’ve used red cardstock which I’ve cut to 4×4, scored the bottom piece with the Martha Steward scoreboard which simplified my life so … I’ve used the christmas bauble embossing folder, and cut from a 6×6 basic grey pad, pieces at 3×3 to get the most out of my supplies, the sentiment is a ribbon, which I’ve cut up … everything was done with things that I had already had, and it’s nice to actually USE up my stuff!!!
Tomorrow the kids will be getting them!!!
Good morning …. so how goes the Christmas preparations???
I’ve decided not to stress about it and just enjoy each day … if things get done that’s okay, it they don’t … well … 🙂
I’m fine, having fun … I have two pcs yet once again, although I haven’t hooked the second one up, that’s next on my to do list after uploading this blogpost!!
Anywayzzzz …. it’s the 15th and it’s time for a new Get Creative sketch …
So here’s another sketch by Chrysa!

Here is what I did with it, after rotating it 90* to the left:
I’ve had a lot of fun doing this one …
My mom has been with the kids these past two weeks, and I have to say I’m very jealous … and look forward so much to seeing them in a couple of weeks …
Here are some more details & close-ups:

Can’t wait to see what you come up with, and don’t forget this month our sponsor are Unity Stamps!!
Hello fellow scrappy friends!
How are you coping with Christmas preparations??
We’ve been enjoying a few lovely days, and today I have an annual Christmas Brunch with my fellow stitching ladies to go to!
I’ve always made something for the ladies, so this year I’ve been inspired by Sir Timmy and his tags, as well as my friend Zeffy who is up to date with her tags …
So I’ve made my own version of a tag / bookmark ..
It’s been a lot of fun making these, and I will make more … I’ve enjoyed using coredination paper for the first time with the embossing folders, sanding away, and embossing with ultra thick afterwards … I had a little assembly line going at 3 am this morning!!! 🙂
Well time to go, so have a great day!
Irini over at Get Creative has set a great challenge to get us into the Christmas mood …
You have to create a layout using Christmas paper …
I must be honest I was a bit challenged with this challenge … as I haven’t even given one thought to Christmas this year, and I see myself only visiting toy shops … as with these difficult times, I see myself only getting the kids something this year … anyway and I’m depending on the shops wrapping up the gifts … 🙂
But just last Tuesday I got a knock on the door, and in walks Dimitraki and Chrisanthy with a long roll in their hands … what’s this I ask? It’s a present from our trip to Germany they say … and Dimitraki picked it out all by himself …
Dimitraki who doesn’t talk much tells me: Ένη, αρτί, άρι! Which translated means, Eleni … paper … fish ….
So, I was inspired and here’s the layout!!!
The paper behind the photo at the top, the pinocio puppet and the fish are all part of the wrapping paper, I’ve been inspired by Shimelle’s Pretty paper class to choose the other coordinating papers and I’ve gone with dots / strips / & checks!!! 🙂
Sorry for only one photo this time … My 2nd computer decided to be difficult … so I’ve finally got around to calling the technician to have a look at both my Pcs … I will either end up having two again, or needing to buy a new one …
That’s why I’ve been a bit quiet and not visiting blogs and forums …
Go and check out what my other Design Team Members have come up with at the blog,
