Here is another piece in My Artful Lettering Composition book, which I started and finished on the ship from Naxos to Piraeus!
The colours are a little off, the hair is more purpley …
I started by using a pencil and drawing in her face … I coloured it in using my NeoColoursII … I’ve been following Julie Balzer’s How to create faces video class … and it has helped a lot …
This photo was taken with my cell phone as I was creating it … I find I forget to take photos along the way!
I know that I have a bit of ways to go until my faces are better … but I’m having fun playing and trying them!
I love the quote … especially coming from a person whose beauty has always been a focal point.
Well I hope you like this page! Have a great Sunday!

I spent a lovely week on Naxos island with my family again. It was a blessed time, a nice balance of rest, play, exploring, great food, and relaxing get togethers over lots of cups of coffee!
My niece Katerina prepared a special gift for me!
She had created this for me and I wanted to share it with you:
I totally love her collage style!!! This is a gift that I will treasure for a long time! 🙂

Continuing with my previous word / quote, I’m not doing it in my tag book but in My Artful Lettering Book. Another one that I started on Naxos, and added the finishing touches on the ship as I was returning to Naxos!
So for The CraftBarn Q&L challenge I’ve used the word hurt, and here is my double page:
I’ve truly enjoyed playing with my lettering, and I’m quite satisfied with the way the quote turned out!
Here is a closeup:
I found the quote on InstaQuote … it’s has a wealth of quotes on all subjects …
Here is a close up of the face:
I’m partial to blue hair, and if I could I would! 🙂
Thank you for dropping by!

Happy Easter Everyone!!!
I should be in a happy place celebrating with family and friends on Naxos island!
I have another page from my Composition Book to share with you:
I was gelli plating and used my composition book to make an impression …
Then I saw this amazing quote, and began to write names of friends who have make an impression on my life …
Feeling very blessed …
I’m sure that I could have added even more names if I had the space! 🙂
Thank you for dropping by, and I hope you are all having a lovely day with your family and friends today!!! 🙂

This fortnight the Craftbarn Blog Quote & Lyrics challenge has once again two words: Change & Truth.
This time again, I’m not doing a tag for it … I’m on Naxos and I have a few limited supplies with me … I’ve brought My Artful lettering Book, so I’ve actually done two pages in that with quotes with the word Change it them:
Here is the double page:
Pens, markers, NeoColours II, two quotes and a few tangles!!
This I actually created on the boat trip down to Naxos …
Some closer details!
This I finished on Naxos yesterday!
Some close ups!
Thank you for dropping by, and I hope you will be enjoying a love Easter weekend!!!

Another creation in my Composition Book, inspired by Joanne Sharpe’s creation!
Taking my art to a very SIMPLE level … just stencils and doodling, and a bit of NeoColours II to give depth!
Creating freely, very light with few tools and supplies! It’s refreshing and liberating!!!!
Thank you for dropping by!

Practice, practice, practice …. Practice helps to make perfect …
Here are a practice page, writing out different alphabets:
and here is another page that I created as I was playing with friends on a recent trip to Aigina island ….
Friends were talking all around me, and these words just flowed out:
Just using my Micron markers, some promarkers, and NeoColours II.

I’ve recently purchased Joanne Sharpe’s first book:
If you remember I had done her online course Doodle Art and Letters during the summer … so the moment I saw that a book was coming out, I grabbed it!
It’s a fab book with lots of inspiration within!
There is a Facebook Group to join, and Joanne adds an inspirational lesson to do for those that have the book, and it’s a great place to share your work!
I’ve gone ahead and made my ‘book’ as she has suggested and here it is:
Here it is open, the front and back covers!
A close up of my front cover!!! It was so much fun to do and I’m so pleased with it!
I plan on doing more of these ‘books’ as they are very simple, pretty, and useful to make !!!
