… at the end of your Rainbow????
Do you remember this entry for the Alpha Challenge?
Well it’s the winner for this week’s alpha challenge!!!
Yeah to me!!!! I’m so happy!!!
But I do have another entry in my dictionary to show you … when we did the letter M … it was only MA to ME [I did my marble page], but there were so many more pages in the M section left over that instead of removing them all I decided to do another entry ….
So, M is for Mist!!! LOL Surprised …? Here is my page!
I used 3 mists … 2 blues and one yellow … I used 5 different stencils!!!
I highlighted the entry with Twinkling H2O …
The cityscape is a stencil, and I added it with Distress inks!

Letter 8 over at Craft Barn Alpha challenge and this time we have W but with a twist we have to use circles in the background …
I knew that the word I wanted to choose was WOMEN because I wanted to use a Kaisercraft stamp that I have of women called parade!
Now for the circles … I thought I would gelli art directly onto the page … and that’s how it started!!! LOL But THIS is the end product:
I stamped the women in archive ink on this tissue-like paper, and I used gel medium to add it, it was so thin that the design underneath showed through, and I liked this.
I added some glass paste to some of the circles then added 3 mists and let them run!
Then I did some stamping and more mists over …

It was a lot of fun to do, and I look forward to the next letter!

Today we are starting of a new challenge at Get Creative … when I first heard about the tag challenge and Irini ‘the boss’ asked who wanted to play along, I said ‘me, me, me’!!!
What fun it is, especially because there is freedom in the first challenge!

The Craft Barn is having it’s fortnight challenge again, and this time it’s the letter ‘R’ …
I chose rainbow and here is my take:
After gessoing over the pages, I used black acrylic paint with my stencil, and then I used liquid masking … I misted with my dylusions to give it the rainbow effect, and after that was dry, I went over with a glass past … I love the 3 d effect …

As I’ve mentioned in a previous post I have bought a gelli plate … and even though I haven’t managed to play as much as I like, I had quite a few pages … some I had done specifically to make into a book …
Two weekends ago I went for a three day weekend to Naxos, and the night before I was sewing signatures and making a book to take with me! LOL I am certified [crazy] I know!!!
I’ve had time to play with it, and want to show you some pages!
First the cover:
The girl jumping with joy is my art alter ego! LOL It’s also the stencil that I won over at Jessica Sporn’s blog!
Here is the back of the cover … the doodled bird what by the Creative Doodling and Beyond book [I had taken that with me to Naxos] and I’ve used some paints from Sofia’s stash [my niece] to decorate it!
Next page is the year of a tracing paper that I had gellied … added some doodling and paints …
The next two pages … Lots of doodling here … and it’s mostly inspired by my weekend.
