Just wanted to share Sassy Lil’ Sketch that was revealed today …
Time to go over to the
to see what the girls have come up with!!
I came home last night late, and came up with this quick card …
.. which also fulfills the November challenge at the UK Scrappers card of the month for November which was to use a tag.
Papers are Basic Grey- Olivia collection, Magnolia stamp, sentiment and tag are from American craft – Fun Collection, easel card bazzil!
My brother was in Athens on business and I had bought my niece a present and wanted to write a card as well … she plays the violin so when I saw this Magnolia I just had to get her!!!
Just have to share this with you … the little guy is Dimitraki, my cousins little boy who is 16 months old now … he’s almost a daily visitor to our house, as his Grandmother who looks after him lives in the flat above us …
He is so curious about life, and after watching my Mom repair a jacket for Sofia, Mom gave him a mini tutorial about the workings of the sewing machine!!! LOL This was just too cute not to record!
Well, I’ve been creative , have finished my Sassy layout for December er which I’m excited again, and am planning scrappy presents for Christmas!!
Cheryl Johnson a UK Photographer is offering a free on line course which will start on December 1st … I did one of her classes in July 2007, and if you go HERE you can see what I had uploaded on my blog then …
Anyway, the class is called the 12 days of Christmas and is free!
So go over to Cheryl’s blog and register!!!
For the second challenge for the month of November for the
Get Creative @ CraftyCroppers in Gr blog,
we had to do something inspired by Advent Calendars …
This year I think will be another busy one for me, and with a view of doing my JYC album again this year, and not knowing if I was going to have enough time, I wanted to create a Journal / Advent Calendar where I can jot down the thoughts daily …
I made pockets out of pattern paper, used my BIA to bind the book together … new christmas paper from My Minds eye … simple embellies, so that the paper was the main attraction …
Here are some interior pages:
I imagine that I will add more as the month passes on, even maybe a photo every now and them …
Looking forward to seeing what you do for the challenge!!!
The Hippity Hop is a recipe challenge hop. It starts right here, right now and ends at 9 P.M. on Sunday, November 14th. You’ll need to visit each challenge blog. You will get an element at each of the 5 blogs, Sassy Lil’ Sketches , Scrap Fit, Crop Suey, Scrap Tiffany and The Cuttlebug Spot. Using the elements create a layout or card and post it to all 5 blogs for a chance to win up to 5 times.
Last weekend I finished this layout for the 12th challenge …
We were only allowed to use one sheet of paper, and I chose a sheet from My Mind’s Eye the Abey Road collect …
Not using any more paper, I turned to stamping, inking, ribbons, and rubbons to decorate, journal and make the title …
I used my studio G mini alphabet set, to stamp with a purple stazon on the film to create the title …
Some for stamping for the journalling … used my glitter pens to write text … we had a fab time at the Sfragidomania opening, and I loved creating this layout!
BTW, I won the 11th Challenge with this layout!!!
The first challenge over at the Crafty Croppers Blog was to create Christmas cards …
I actually did two for the occasion … but sent one to Irini …
I’ve decided to use Easel cards, and for my Greek Scrapbooking friends you can find instructions HERE in Greek.
The photos cannot show the detail of the embossing on the pattern paper and blue cardstock … the images are Magnolia, apart from the tree next to the snowman … Hopefully I will be able to show you that technique soon on my other blog …
