You Think you Know me??? Completion!!!

There is such a great satisfaction in completing a project … this is the second thing that I have finished this month … wow! It’s been productive!!!

Today, I got up early to go to church … there was a 40-day memorial service for an acquaintance that I wanted to go to … so we returned a little after 12 pm … from that moment on I spent my time scrapping … it was so much fun … one page just came out after another …

I’m happy that all my writing is my own handwriting … I usually use the computer … I like the fact that I doodled … I don’t think I’ve ever scrapped so many pictures of myself??!!??

Here are my pages:

It was a very therapeutic experience and I look forward to more classes by Shimelle!!!
Okay, time to clean up … thanks for looking!

Maria’s class on CarolineCraftz Forum

Here is my take on the class that was going on today … I really like the way this turned out … I usually scrap my nieces, but it was fun to scrap other children too!!! These two siblings are my fav as I admire the love that they share and show each other … no jealousy, no rivalry … just laughs and love!!!

Introducing ….

My a junior class!!!

This is a layout that came to me before I actually took the photos … on Thursday afternoon we spent a great day, learning a chant: Hello, hello. What’s your name? Hello, Hello. What’s your name? Hello, hello. What’s your name? Hello, I’m Ace. Hello, I’m Ace.
It got to be very LOUD … but we were all having SOOOO much fun!!! That’s the part that I love about teaching … anyway, I’ll be displaying this layout on a wall in our class for a while, so that they kids can enjoy it!

Sting on Studio 60

Well it’s been a few days since I’ve been able to blog … Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were hectic days, with me gone from VERY early in the morning and coming home after 10 pm … and of course I slept in very late today … so I feel like half the day is already gone …

Although I have work to do for the school, today is going to be about me … LOL … my blog, my scrapbooking, watching my series … talking with friends and so on ….

So to start … here is a brilliant clip from the show Studio 60 … episode 5 I think, that had Sting as a guess star! Enjoy! You must press twice on the 4 to get it started!!!

You Think you Know me???

Well here is the cover of my album … it has been very fun creating this … I first painted ALL the covers inside out with Luscious Lemon acrylic paint. I’ve used scraps left over from some of the pages done and those to come … and first time that I’ve added a clapse to an album. I don’t plan on using bumpy elements so I hope it will hold as I add pages. Finally, a bit of stamping and free paint doodling … by the way, I took my ‘creative’ photo while I was doing the cover … LOL … Thought that would be a nice touch …

Thanks for looking! I also enjoy the comments left … :-))

Paula’s Christmas Challenge Number 1

Paula has started these new Christmas challenges … Christmas is my favourite time of the year, always has been … so I love doing things for it … last year I started to make cards, only got something like 5 done, so I just went out and bought ready cards … LOL …

This year, I really wanted to make my own … I’ve even bought some dies for the quickutz in Christmas designs to do so … so I was pleased when Paula’s first challenge was Christmas cards.

This is my result … obviously the quickutz wreath took its time, but the cards were really easy to do after I have decided what papers to use … I plan on making more with this technique … just a different die cut in the next few days. They were fun, and my mother and aunt just watched in amazement as to how easily they came together.

What a lovely day!

Today I woke up to a marvellous warm SUNNY day … it’s been so great … all our balcony doors are open … I’m busy painting the outer cover of my Think you know me? album … and in between … I’ve been out the front balcony talking some photos of the flowers …

Tell me, doesn’t the top left photo seem like nature is doodling? Press on it to see a closeup … I was just awed by it …

Okay, need to get back to creating!
