Well as Friday went on lovely things continued to happen. I learnt that I would finish lessons earlier.
My FCE students had their break and treated me to my first icecream.
Then I got an email that I qualify for a free smartphone.
This is my new toy:

So I’m testing to see what it can do. I’m writing this post from the phone.
To top up I have a new book to read. The third part to the Hunger Games.
I hope I haven’t bored you too much.

Here is my regular Friday post once again …

… but this time I start off with a bit of shocking news! Julie’s post today is titled: Linky List Love and she has my page from last week up! :) What an honour!!! ❤ This has definitely made my day today … and a ‘difficult’ day it is … it’s 22 years since my father passed away … March is always a ‘difficult’ emotional month for me … and I already have done today’s entry … I write a little bit about ‘… finding things to make me smile & it’s okay to feel the loss …’ well, it’s funny how thru my art I receive so much joy as well …
Anyways … here is my page 50 to show you:
I’ve added two my of my tags to these pages … I find an easy solution to my backgrounds and to set the different days is to leave it all white and then after I write with my pen to go over it with some of the NeoColours II … I have a small set of 15 but I find that these are the ones the reach more for so I’m thinking of buying a few more different colours!
Playing with my own letter writing … I’ve finally received Joanne Sharpe’s new book: The Art of Whimsical Lettering which is a wonderful source of inspiration!!!
A close up of one of the tags
Love this versatile stencil!
The other tag!
Well thank you to all who drop by and leave me such wonderful comments!!! They are greatly appreciated and make my day!!!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Enjoy!

New words at the Craft Barn Quote & Lyrics challenge. Flower and Travel. I love both words so I’ll probable be making two tags this fortnight! 🙂
My first one is here:
I have to thank my friend Katerina for the kind use of her Prima doll stamps! Always so generous with her toys and so much fun to play together! 🙂
I’ve used the 12×12 TCW Flower quarter stencil, my promarkers, glitter, iamroses small flowers and my micron 0.1 & sharpie dual point marker!
The quote I found on Tumblir on the internet … and thought it was very appropriate!
The paper had originally been used by my nephew to draw on with metal crayon that’s why you see the marks on her body … nothing should go to waste! 😉
Thank you for dropping by!!!!

They are becoming addictive to make, and give me stress free time … so here are some more pictures of what I’ve made …
Love addicting quotes to them …
Same stamped image but different stencil background, doodling and colours …
Three side by side … the middle one is waiting to be done!
Latest one, playing with details, and seeing how to add depth!
The first two I made …
I hope you have enjoyed my tags!!!
Have a great Sunday everyone!

So, inspiration leaps and takes bounds …. as I was staring at these amazing Prima doll stamps I thought what if?????
…. and this is the result:
All done with markers … The dress is a piece of homemade paper … the title ‘fun’ is my creation cut and glued again …
A close up of the doodling … I’ve left it white to make it pop!
And another one:
Markers again, and some of the doodling in white to pop!
These are so addictive and so much fun to make!!! 🙂

I am still continuing to be inspired by Julie Balzer’s classes …but this has jumped to a Facebook group called the Balzer Fans Unleashed where we share our art … and after being inspired by a fellow artist Bridgett King who had stendoodled within a silhouette stencil, I just had to try that too!!!
This is the result:
I chose Andy Skinner’s children stencil because today is my niece & nephew’s birthday. They are 4 today, and have been on my mind for days … so this is basically my way, of saying Happy Birthday to Dimitri & Michaelia … and I hope that they will always have each other!!! 🙂
The quote:
Once I saw the quote I knew that it would be perfect for this, and in time for Craft Barn’s challenge!
A close up of the children! 🙂
Thank you for dropping by!
