I just picked up this Webley mk. IV in 38 s&w at a gun show for $250. It came with a holster and 10 rounds. How did I do, and what can /k/ tell me about these?

I honestly haven't seen an import mark on a Webley, but then again the only Webleys i've ever handled are Webley-Fosberr's and stuff that belongs at auction houses. Great find though, I hope you have fun with it!

His older art style was better, honestly. Plus I got good deals early on.
Also the commissions he owes were paid for over 2 years ago and we used Steam games as payment. So I'm basically fucked.

When you talked to him, did he ever mention some personal aspects of his life, or in his tweets?
Something spilling out? To pinpoint country, region or city?
Maybe get him to doxx himself.
Get his sexual orientation. Have contact with him to meet up whatever. Act like you're someone else. Fuck his life basically.
But that is just suggestion, nothing a sane person would do right?

Shit, his second Tumblr got taken down too?
Well fuck. I stopped checking it half a year ago since it just pissed me off. Sorry, anon.
>>
>>36118289
That's too fucked up and dedicated/stalkery for me.
I just want either a refund or for him to finish my drawings at the very least. Or for his commission rate to drop when it's found out he's a fucking scammer. Artists shouldn't rip people off of $100s and still get thousands yearly for their color sketch rape pics. I think over a year is long enough to confirm his shit.

Cops and or small towns. There are some departments that can't afford officers so they let them work there basically for free part time just so that the officer can keep their "sworn" status and use it to get security gigs that only hire cops. All I meant was there is huge variance department to department and $120, while on the high end, is certainly plausible given the cost of living range in this country.

whats a necessary evil to you? I don't think you should even be labeling your actions, actions are just actions.
>>
>>36098782
Mash up fly poison and mix it with Mountain Dew. They’ll climb over the bodies of they’re comrades to get it. That being said it looks like a horrible, painful death for them. Just use snap traps, find where they established they’re shitting corner and put them along walls that lead there with some peanut butter and a nut or seed jammed in the little hole they’ll have to struggle to pull out.
>>
>>36117987
>whats a necessary evil to you
I would consider any killing to be evil in some sense, if it's necessary for some reason then it's a necessary evil.

I'm not a vegetarian but I acknowledge that eating a steak requires killing a cow, vegetarians are really people that take that to the next level of commitment.

Any intentional cause of suffering is evil, don't hurt people if you can avoid it.

The hippie pseudo problem you're having here is that this is the first time you have to see an animal die, you have done without that since it just always happened somewhere else. It has to be this way or else because of all the first world problems hippie shits, you'd see more gay protests and then everyone going hungry because no food is hipster enough. It has to be this way and you have to go to the store and the food has to have just come from some unknown source you don't ever question.

You may have gotten off easy with your set of rats or mice but I guarantee you that even the most die hard peta shit would get enjoyment in at least hearing the trap fire, when you have the ones that chew electrical wires or your antique molding.
>>
>>36118185
The 'enjoyment' that healthy people would feel is just relief that the problem is solved or satisfaction in a task well done. Not enjoyment in the infliction of suffering.

This isn't a hippie pseudo problem, it's a very basic principle of moral philosophy and your associating it with hippies just shows how little you've studied on the topic.

Old thread got archived, so here's a new one.

I've noticed there are these ~5" and 6" Glock 29 and 30 barrels around. Do the Lone Wolf dust cover extension thingies or the Voodoo/Adams Arms Gen3 to Gen4 slide plates work on the 10mm/.45 Glocks? I've heard of people putting G19Gen3 slides on their G26s, but I would assume a G20Gen4 slide on a G29 frame would work better if the dust covers work on both normal-caliber and large-caliber Glocks. If they're not for a slide conversion, the only reason I see to have a dongle-barrel in a compact large-caliber Glock is to sell it in Canada or some shit.

These are the things I'm talking about:

I would like to pose a question to those of you that carry concealed firearms:
Were you to "make" another person who carries concealed (let the matter of how you'd do it stand for now), would you make it known to them that you, too, had a concealed firearm, as to not get mistaken for a criminal in the event you both would need to draw?
Allow me to paint a scenario:
You're on a ferry for some amount of time, and another passenger's shirt gets lifted by the breeze just long enough for you to make out a gun in his waistband.
Do you ally yourself with this man for the duration of the trip in the event of a terrorist attack or other situations that might call for you to draw, both to multiply the firepower at hand against the assailant(s) and to not accidentally shoot each other?
For states that require you to take a course to get your concealed carry permit, what are you taught to do?

the real answer is: it isn't.

the only two important factors for a holster are that you can wear it comfortably and draw from it smoothly. a properly made kydex will grip a gun just fine and hold it safely.

sometimes they're the only option unless you want to shell out a stupid amount of money for a custom holster that's half the price on a normal gun.
>>
>>36103717
>Potential castration 'o clock

Ideally it'll also angle the grip in toward your body to reduce printing.

We have innawoods, unnaground, but what does /k/ think about the possibility of unnawater? What advantages would there be as apposed to unnaground or innawoods? I wouldn't assume most /k/ommandos would have a real application for diving equipment except perhaps laying mines or laying down/recovering secret unerwater stashes or some bullshit. What does /k/ generally think of diving shit?

I corrently have a small assemblage of vintage scuba equipment that I'm going to be replacing soon with a surface air line impressor since I don't really plan on exceeding depths of 15 feet tops. Can post pics of my current gear with timestamp as requested. Inb4 I go the way gasbro or grenadebro but underwater.

Depends on the show and venue. Before I moved to a liberal hellhole you could by an AMD-65 for $350 or a tokarev for $120 easy. Most of the time you're paying MSRP; maybe high or low if the FFL thinks you're funny or you have a punch-able face.

It's not the gun show, it's your area. If you're not involved in the local gun community, get in there...Chances are they know what's up and where the good deals are. You can always tell when anti-gun legislation is potentially pending because prices shoot through the roof at gun shows. Before Hillary, you could buy Glocks for $300-400 and during her run it shot up to $550 minimum. One guy wanted $900 for a frankenglock made with shitty Timberwolf aftermarket stuff because it was "custom" I had to look up all the parts and prove that it was worth less than $500 and easy enough to put together that labor wasn't worth any upcharge.

I wasn't punchable enough for him to argue and got it for $400.
>>
>>36112771

As a Canadian if I went to a gun show with those prices I'd be pretty happy desu.
>>
Funny last gun show I went to had tons of reasonably priced stuff. AR accessories at 1/2 the market price, cool surplus shit for real cheap, and some guns that were being sold at market price.

Going back there next week. Hoping to get a good price on a Mossberg 500, if I don't then I'll just buy some accessories.
