Though it pales to, say, my Grandpa's old Model 10-6 in finish, and isnt as accurate as my G17 or Beretta 92FS, it actually seems pretty solid.. as long as you dont get a lemon. If I was to speculate, it succeeds because it is effectively a glock clone, as is its PT709 single-stack brother. I've seen them go for $200, not a bad poor-fag option.

Regarding to Taurus, I understand the hate, but personally had good experience, few failures and I don't mind them at all. Don't have any guns that I feel are terrible by Taurus, and I own a PT52 (.380, wife's gun), an m9 clone that shoots smooth enough, the PT92, and a .357 revolver. Overall, considering the price point, I'll buy Taurus again for sure. My wife has been asking for a Curve as a carry gun, might gift her in christmas.

Recently obtained a 12ga, 9mm, and an AR is in the mail. Now I need a dog. I'm not looking for an operator-tier breed. I just need a animal who will fight a pack of niggers with me in a pinch. Mostly I want an animal who's smart, loyal, and will help me obtain a gf. I live alone in an apartment in a bad/poor neighborhood, but I hope to move to a better one soon (just got promoted). So a big dog puppy should have a decent yard within a year. Is there any safe way to take a dog to a range? Are their ears too sensitive? Should I wait until I have a house with a yard to get a dog?

But there are clusters of completely clueless morons that got brought in by the planeload when their distant cousin in law got a supervisor position and sent back some money to have them "educated" with overnight masters degrees. Employers on this end have no way of verifying anything and as long as there is a core of competent engineers that do all the real work the rest can lay low and pretend to be useful.I'm ranting, but I live in the silicon valley and this shit is infuriating. I've seen companies with 300+ engineers but only 10 doing any real work.

The 97 is also shorter and lighter than my 10.5" AR, even though it has a (sort of) full size barrel. And it breaks down just as, if not more, easily than my AR.I didn't think I'd like the bullpup configuration very much until I got this rifle, and now I'm a huge fan.
