Alright guys. So i have my first puppy who is 4 months now. Shes a quick learner but a bit stubborn. Heres my question. When it is feeding time and im bnring her food to her shesx already doing the commands with out me telling her what to do. So what ends up happening is she gets confused and starts barking. What can i do to fix this ? I tried setting the food away and restarting over but the same thing happens. She sits and the lays right after without my command.
teach her some new commands, mix it up for her each time. Never do the same commands each time or they'll get used to it.
My dog does this too and she’s around 9. They think they’re slick. You have to change up the commands and restart. Eventually your pup will understand that it won’t be the same every time and she’ll have no choice but to wait for the command. I’m sure that there’s other people on here with better advice, but this is from my own experience with my older dog. I’m not sure how well it would work with a puppy.

So yesterday I noticed and pulled a tick off my dog. I put the tick on isopropyl to kill and preserve it in case my dog needs testing for Lyme. But the thing is he’s always been a lethargic and lazy dog for the most part. He’s about 8 1/2 and he grew up with his “brother” who passed a little over a year ago, and I noticed his behavior changed then (he became alpha of his pack I guess) so he would eat less and was more aggressive towards people on the sidewalkSo how long should I wait before getting care for my dog? We’d need to get him doggy insurance before we went, and it’s hard to tell if he’s any lazier than usual. For reference, the tick was on him for about a full day, from at least the middle of Wednesday to yesterday afternoon
I lost a dog to lyme when I was growing up, took roughly two years. Lyme disease is a absolute wrecking ball for dogs, I wouldn't wait more then a few months. At least you got it off your doggo properly, if the ticks mandible gets stuck in his skin it can make matters worse and potentially give the poor dog an infection

Hi /an/,I need some ideas on how I could entertain my cat more. Ever since it got cold outside, he has been out less, which means he's bored. This manifests in him living out his destructive tendencies on whatever he can find in the house, usually on electronics in my room.This situation isn't fun for both me and my cat; he'll try to rile me up by biting into things he knows he shouldn't bite into just to get my attention, and I try to dissuade him from doing it and ultimately have to lock him out of my room.Playing with him myself is what I already do, but my cat has insane amounts of energy, which means he'll easily play for half an hour or more before taking a break.He's also reasonably smart (I hate to admit it), he figured out how to use the catflap after a few minutes of me showing him when he's never seen a catflap before. He also enjoys carrying around things, for example his toys, which is why we put them in a small basket so he can get them out of the basket each day and carry them around the house.Pic related, it's him about to bite into an old PSU of mine. He also recently stole a microcontroller dev board and ran off with it.

I moved to Brazil a few months ago and started noticing a funny little fly gathering in my shower. They are super small little fuzzy moth fly things and i was wondering if anyone knows their name.They spend most of their time in the corners of the shower and are normally seen jumping rather than flying althoigh i do see them fly as well.The picture is a 15x macro shot of one on a bath towel so you can maybe underatand the size compared to the towel fibers.They seem harmless and actualy kind of personable to watch jump around and interact with fellow flies.Thanks!
