(1) The appliance exerts a direct physical force which alters the strain distribution in the bone and elicits bone remodeling and tooth movement. (2) The presence of the appliance initiates the sensory input which triggers a neuromuscular response. >This change in neuromuscular activity, in turn, affects both muscle development and bone remodeling. The fixed orthodontic appliance may work mainly on the first principle. Certain removable appliances may have a significant effect based on the second principle.

They were fucking huge and the most muscular cat by far. Which also means they are the most muscular mammal. They were build more like a bear than a cat and could grow to upwards of 1000+ lbs. When you're that big I don't think you need to hunt in a pack

Maybe I didn't read the right study but lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, etc have evolved to be direct competitors with each other in attempt to survive being annihilated by one or the other. Africa is built for cleaning up wastes and living on the scraps so it shouldn't be surprising that in certain regions and times where food is difficult to find, high competition, droughts, not only predators want to kill you but half your food has the ability to murder you too so hearing the sound of a dying animal would be extremely appealing to any carnivore. You have to get it before someone else does, especially if you haven't been very successful with your own hunts or don't need to expand the energy required to do it. I believe it's more likely they were ambush predators than having modern lion social structures. Solitary and young male lions do it a lot, as well as male lions who already have a pride.

Just got my pup back from surgery. Had a large soft tissue sarcoma removed. Hoping the margins where wide enough but never know if it was good enough. Pups having a rough time. Anyone been through this? Tips? Stories? Victories or failure? I'd love to find some people to share if they have been through something similar.

some cats have this, including mine. they sometimes get it. it's probablty irritation from scratching or biting their fur. If it feels scabby it could be due to him or her scratching it too much.
