Guys, I need some help.
Need to figure out what I should buy in the next year or so. I can afford roughly 100-200k, just depends on how my business goes.
Here are my options:
McLaren 12c - 120-140k
Ferrari 458 Italia - 150-220k (depends on year, mileage, obviously)
McLaren 570S - 170-180k
Lamborghini Huracan - 180-220k

(I don't want the NSX, the GTR, Aston Martin, etc.)

Just need to know if anyone else here, is interested in buying these cars, or has already purchased one of them, and can share their experiences. Either what you enjoy, what you hate, etc.

I cant really tell you how much, but I do know that that series of Bmw has been very problematic no matter what year, and best to steer clear unless you plan to buy with a very generous/factory warranty. Also maybe the most expensive Bmw to maintain.

>>18330216
Unfortunately I am not to familiar with older Bmw's the ones i was looking at were a few years old and were under warranty but from what i have heard, read, seen if your buying a Bmw that's the one to get. Maybe other anon's that know/have that car could help you out better than me.

P.S. Rule of thumb. If your looking at any luxury/performance car, if you cant afford one that is a few year old and still has a factory warranty you probably cant afford it out of warranty (With a few exceptions of course).

>>18321396

McLaren 570S is the fastest car there, 458 Italia is the most attractive.
>>
>>18330174
Can you really blame them, though? For the vast majority, it's literally the closest they'll ever get.
Not that it isn't cringeworthy, but it is understandable.
What would be really hilarious is to watch someone who really does own a car like this get torn to shreds here.

Couldn't see one.

So I replaced the timing belt and water pump of my 2001 Mazda Astina (1.6L ZM-DE) using a kit online. It took quite a while and it was my first engine-y repair, but I finished it.

When I put everything back together and turned the key, the engine turns consistently but won't ignite.
Obviously the most likely thing is that I fucked up the timing, but I quadruple checked it and it doesn't look to really be off.

My second guess is ignition coils (as my garage leaks and they might have been damaged) or crank sensor.

Any guesses?
>>
>>18335343
im not a genius at diesel but maybe when you put the engine back together you didn't tighten something properly and its not getting enough pressure?

What do you have under your hood on that? I just bought my z a month ago and have been going over suspension bushings and basic tune up stuff. I'm gonna be getting the paint done after i get everything else out the way. The previous owner was doing some bodywork on it and gave it a late c3 corvette rear end.

What do you guys think of Honda ACCORD?

2~2.4L around early/mid 2000's

Im currently in need of a car and im thinking of buying one of these with 100~140km for around $4k.

2 of my friends own it, heard they are quite well equipped along with the reputation of being reliable.

Personally, I would much rather get used BMW 3 series but i am a poor student and all that maintenance, insurance and fuel kinda got me.

Anyone br/o/s own accord? is it worth it???

This one in the pic is a TSX in the states and it's very reliable. Comes with a K24A2 which is a great motor look out for issues in the power steering and electrical issues in the console
>>
>>18335155

Thanks, is there any model i should strictly avoid?
>>
>>18335161
If you're referring to the TSX avoid the 04-05 and get the 06-08 they fix the issues and have the A spec body kit which looks better and aren't much more than the 04-05 also if you're planning on getting the 6 speed manual it takes a while to get used to due to the drive by wire system
>>
>>18335116
Decent cars, but they rust like fuck so check them carefully. If you get a 3 series make sure it is a 6cyl model, ideally with a manual gearbox. They are fine if you look after them, although I have heard parts are expensive in the states

Why did this fail so hard? I don't think I've ever seen one on the road and I live in a city of a million people.

Because their boring, slow, unreliable. I mean why would anybody buy a Bmw or a Mercedes or any other Eurofag/American luxury car except to be badge whoring dick suckers for the former and I am old and view my car as an appliance for the latter. Japanese and Koreans make infinitely better cars with Toyota and Kia being reliable luxurious and most important affordable, for performance you get a Lexus for a blend you get a Stinger.

Where I live (in America) car-jackings are way up and getting way more sophisticated.

What is the cause?
What are some societal solutions?
What are preventive measures that a car owner can take?

>Being black doesn't make you a nigger.
That's a truth I noticed in school when I was young. The problem is that the nigs try to pull down the good black people to the least common denominator.

That kind of horribly bad nigger behaviour is pervasive and contaminating to other people around it. How can black people make progress when nigs keep on trying to pull other black people back down. It's like the nigs know they are unable to behave better, so in revenge, they make sure that others are pulled down to keep them company. It sucks. In essence, the nigs work hard to create racism and to keep racism existing for fear of being left behind by other blacks.

Implement SINGAPORE laws.

>As bad as that it, the library smell being ruined really irks me.
It's not just that. The amount of germs spread all over the fabric chairs sucks.

Another problem is they don't wash hands as they eat their meals in the library. Then they wipe their hands on the chairs (I've seen them do it) since they don't use paper napkins. And they touch reading materials like papers and magazines and the food grime transfers. When they read, they cough right onto the magazine pages. Bah.

alright /o/, lets talk about the 3KGT VR4

looking at picking one up and i have 2 main questions.

1. keeping in mind that i will want to do some slight modifications (i.e. exhaust, suspension/brakes, etc), would it make sense to go for the 94-97 models which have all the cool goodies (ECS, active aero and exhaust), or should i set my sights on a 97+ model since ill be modifying the suspension anyway?
2. has anyone here driven one? whats it like on a day to day basis. this wont be a daily driver at all, but maintenance wise i know its a huge pain due to the cramped engine bay and all those electronics and shit.

94 and up 300zx are good. Again they have that 4 wheel steering Shit that always busts and they're are maintenance hogs as well but have timeless beauty and speed
>>
>>18335009
if you like the looks of the 3kGT, definitely go for the Z32.
the later models are definitely better. there are a few minor issues with the 89-91 models, like valve springs I think.
and yeah I prefer the looks of the 3kGT. personally my favourite looking car of the 90's.

also to whoever said the 335i/135i, they look good, but id rather not have 2 4dr cars, and the 135 is just ugly. too bad the e90 wagon didnt come with the n54.

>>

i know, but if i got a 3 series it would be a 4 door or wagon. dont really like the look of the e92/93.
