Get rid of the stupid engine penalties rules, if your engine fails on one race, you shouldn't be punished by starting at the back for the next race. Change the penalty from 5 to 3, or maybe even 1 grid slot for 4th element, 2 grid slots for 5th element etc.

Without doing anything extreme or costly just remove the fuel flow regs so drivers don't have to back off at the end to save fuel

Also remove halo. It does increase safety but at that point just do closed cockpit. Moto GP riders accept the risk of flying debris not just to the face but to everywhere else so why cant you. Honestly racing is incredibly safe nowadays, perhaps too sad with circuits like cota with its 10acres of paved runnoff

buying cars with rust

so I'm stuck in minnesota and plan on going back to Texas next week
problem is I need another car to take all the stuff we have here
a 07 town and country looks like my best option but there is some heavy rust at the doors, this is one is the worst one

should I go for it or is it not worth it?
>>
>>18335760
Doors are easy to replace. If there's similar rust in the body or chassis, you'd better be a steel fabricator cause it will be extreme difficult to get in to look half decent without using a tonne of body puffy.

just bought a 94 Accord EX with a rebuilt F22B and 277 on the body. only issue is it sat for 3 years. previous owner was a Honda certified mechanic who did the rebuild but since it sat for so long he let it go for $500. runs and drives, just needs new plugs cause it bogs out when it heats up (probably needs a new thermostat too). for only a five bill though i think its a dream, the interior is mint and the exterior is extremely fixable. i'll post some pics when i wash it.

>the ad campaign for the Camry is about the thrill of driving

Come onnnn. While it does look better, I'd sooner get the Accord since Honda seems to be one of the few who offers a manual in all the models that matter. I think they offer it in everything but the Odyssey, Ridgeline, and Pilot now?

It's actually more than a months wage for the majority of people here. People unironically think I'm wealthy Kek.

Looking at '17 Accord around Oakland on Cars.com; I see a diamond white colored '17 Touring Accord.

I thought the only white color available was White Orchid Pearl, since when was Diamond White available? Or did the dealership painted it on the car themselves instead of an actual Honda color?
>>
>>18335159
Ah, same here bro. I'm making $400 a month as entry level (just graduated), a little less than double the minimum wage (Caribbean).

How did Henry Ford let unions get out of control? Did he not have a group of entrepreneurial gentlemen working for him that's purpose was to stop unions? I dont want these people making cars much less near me in public. They should be in jail or working on some oil rig/labor camp somewhere separate and not visible to good, hardworking educated, people of value. Cant wait for machines to replace all low income jobs.

>>18333654
Overall 6 cylinders are for fags. Do not take me wrong they have their purpose but cant go wrong with any car getting a V8, cant get away with that on 6 cylinders.

How did America let bootlickers get out of control? Was it not made clear to them that their employer will erode their rights if they don't band together with their fellow workers? When workers have an adversarial relationship with one another, the employer can fuck them all and manipulate them toward blaming each other.
>>
>>18335487
>Cant wait for machines to replace all low income jobs.
That seems to be your real and sociopathic sentiment about human beings. I suppose your other sentiment is to privatize (aka eliminate) social welfare programs. Otherwise, your eliminating of all low-skilled jobs means a huge number of people will be headed towards social welfare programs. Rich people with their tax shelter approaches already pay a disproportionately low amount of taxes. So your attitude is really squeezing out the middle class.

So I am getting a Cherokee Latitude in a few days but my main concern is, how much should I put as a down payment?

It's about $17,000 after holiday rebates, trade in of my old car, and discount.

Post >yfw even though the Highlander is over a decade old and almost at 200k miles, it will still last longer and be worth more in ~5 years than any new Jeep/Fiat/Chrysler

OP, as soon as you drive that pos off of the lot it's going to depreciate by over a third of what you paid for it. In three years (if you sell it) it'll have lost another third if not more, and that's assuming it still runs at that time. Don't let any random internet strangers tell you what to do with your money, but you'd get better bang for your buck hiring overweight 50 year old prostitutes to just do lines off your dick
