I've been around someone dying in hospice from cancer. At the end they give people enough opiates that they're delusional. You won't be able to do that for yourself. was prescribed zoloft and adderall, but I think I am feeling better. my therapist says that sometimes depression can be cyclical and just because I am feeling better now doesn't mean it will last, and it may only be temporary. I'm not really afraid of taking the zoloft, but my depression stems from school and its a cycle that happens I would say every semester, with it reaching it's peak by the end of said semester. But in my experience it tends to go away within a month or so on it's own. I know why I get depressed, it's because I could never focus in school and i hate it so much. Work always piles up and I get anxiety over my assignments which leaves me very depressed by the end of the semester and pretty much hanging by a thread in terms of my classes. So I hope the adderall will help with that problem. They are both very low doses as well.Should I bother taking it or not? They are just sitting in my room right now. I told my pysch this and she said she wouldn't force me to take it, but I wonder if I am also having feelings of inadequacy. I never viewed myself as one to need drugs to cope and I always believed that depression was reserved for people who had suicidal ideation so I believe this plays into my desire to reject them. I only recently discovered that I also suffered from anxiety this badly. I know the one thing I struggle to cope with is focusing, so I will definitely try the low dose adderall when I resume school and see if it helps me.
