Hey /x/, this is my first time posting here, I have a story to share and I don’t know who else would possibly believe me. This is not a fucking creepypasta, this happened to me just a few months ago, in August, but I’ve only really started to come to terms with it now and I think I’m ready to talk about it, but this isn’t some shit you can just talk to a therapist about. I’ll try to greentext as much as I can, but again, this was a traumatic thing that I haven’t gotten over and it’s the first time telling this story to anyone, and you’re all anon strangers, so just try to bear with me if I get a little into the details or long-winded. But basically, the other day I started reading about “skinwalkers” or “fleshgaits” and I’m like 99% sure now that I encountered one of those fucking things and they are real. I tried as hard as I could to just push that memory to the back of my head and repress it, but after stumbling upon the realization there seem to be a lot of stories that share similarities with mine, it’s clear that I can’t do that, so here it goes.

Why did this fuck up so bad? I hear people say that this thing used to be good for the first few episodes. In my opinion it was shit from the start. The concept, I thought, was a radio station about news going on around a town where creepy shit happens. I was expecting skepticism and discussion but instead we get a halloween town where all this shit is normal, and an accepted part of the town. As the show progressed it becomes intentionally comical and just straight up quirky. It's no longer a radio show, it becomes more of a monologue, like he is acting and this is all a story. This would have killed if it was a fictional radio station that talked about creepy shit going around the town (similar to coast to coast) but was very real in it's approach, where skepticism is applied, details are minimal and discussion takes place. You know, make it feel like a real radio show but one that made you wonder "What the fuck is going on in this town??"
