Used to have about 4 pages of payphones that could be called into in 2000. Most memorable call I made was one at a train station. Guy who picked up turned out to be a tourist from France who had never been to the US before. Had literally just got here. Welcomed him here and said I hoped he had a good time. Talked to him for a bit until his train got in. Before I hung up, I said "oh yeah, look forward". I was on the other side of the platform on amother phone. Smiled, waved and gave a thumbs up. He got exited, waved back and then had to board his train. Was cool to make someone's first day here interesting like that.

For three weeks I've gotten about 1 and a half to 3 hours of sleep. And some nights not slept at all. I've lost the need for sleep and actually hate falling asleep. I feel different though, more pensive, more alive kind of. And I'm wondering if it's ego death related. What are benefits paranormal and otherwise for sleep deprivation?
How about this scenario: I work overnights on the weekend I need to know how bad I am fucking myself doing this...On friday mornings I usually wake from 7-8am then stay up for 24-30 hours because I work friday nights into Saturday morning. I then spend the next 2 days working and only getting about 5 hours of sleep. Come monday I stay up for as long as I can until passing out monday night ( normally 9pm). I do this every week.

I was just stuck at ATL airport cause of the snow storm and had to pull an all nighter there after a week of finals. I did in fact stay up for over 48 hours straight (only cause i had too), and the night before had 4 hours of sleep. The weird thing was although I did kinda hallucinate (saw circles with colors, like if u close ur eyes and press ur hands to them) and i did hear some weird ringing, but I am positive my sense of smell was altered. I was smelling things that I knew wern't there and were totally unfamiliar to me. Am i crazy or does this make sense?Tl;dr: apparently sleep dep can mess with your sense of smell
