Well it's the only horror game that I remember playing this year, but I only played about 45 minutes before quitting, so I didn't get to the scary parts. Might have been more interested in a horror game disguised as something else if the genre it's pretending to be is a dating sim. It's an even bigger shame because I have loved the visual novels that I've played.
