My only real complaints with 2 are that stealth kills are too strong, and probably should have been tied to a resource but then they'd never hear the end of the Last of Us comparisons. I really liked matches in the first one though. Also, the last third really drags with how long you're dealing with Theodore and an army of generic fire guys. Going through Theodore's castle twice and re-using the same overworld hub area was really lame, and it really could have used having a proper section with new wax monsters instead of a 5 minute hike at the ass-end. That's probably a real budget issue though, as they didn't advertise the game for shit and were probably trying to make it as cheaply as possible for the sales they think it will actually get. I think they did a good job with what they had to work with.I enjoyed the first one though, and this one addressed the vast majority of my complaints with it. I kinda wish this one had been made in place of the first, being able to use the best shit from both.
