Tive um mês de Dezembro muito bom! Não só o Natal e fim de ano de que falei em entradas anteriores. Logo no início do mês encontrei-me em Colares, ao vivo e a cores com uma amiga virtual de há muitos muitos anos. A M.L. (emiele) que conheci noutros blogues e que, presentemente tem o blogue Cerejas. Não é um blogue de manualidades mas sim de atualidade. Sempre me atraiu a forma como comenta e analisa variadíssimos temas.E identifico-me muito com os seus pontos de vista Começamos a trocar mensagens, muito devagarinho há muitos anos, escrevia, então, num blogue coletivo. O nosso encontro foi muito rápido, por isso teremos de nos encontrar novamente, talvez aqui no norte onde não vem muitas vezes ;).
Veio então a véspera do Natal e o dia 25 de Dezembro
I had a very good December! Not only Christmas and New Year.
Early on in the month I finnaly met  in Colares, “alive and in color” a virtual friend for many many years now. The ML (emiele) I met in other blogs and she now has the Cerejas blog. Not a craft blog or needlework blog  but about actuality. Always attracted me how she comments and analyzes numerous and different matters. I identify myself a lot with their opinions. And we started exchanging messages, for many years. Our meeting was very short , so we will have to meet again, perhaps here in the north where she has been few times  ;) Then come Christmas Eve and 25th December.

No início de Janeiro veio ao Porto e encontrou-se, na Arcádia, comigo outra amiga virtual, mais recente e só por trocas de email, pois não tem nenhum blogue – a M.L. (também!) e que vive em Sintra! É uma senhora fantástica cheia de genica e graça e muito humor e que já se dedica às manualidades há muito. Diz, muitas vezes, que aprende comigo, mas acho que só avivo a memória de algumas coisas. Encheu-me de prendas lindas feitas pelas suas mãos. Obrigada MLB!
In early January came to Porto a most recent virtual friend, and we met each other at Arcádia. We’d only comunicated by e-mail ,she has no blog – ML (too!) and lives in Sintra! She is a fantastic lady full of spunk and lots of humor and already engaged to craft for long. She says she is learning with me, but I think I only bring to her memory things she already knows. She filled me with beautiful gifts made ​​by their hands. Thank you MLB!
E eu só lhe ofereci dois pedacinhos de linho de Guimarães. :(
E, por falar nisso, enviei à Luzine Happel pedaços de linhos Portugueses para ela apreciar se serviam, também, para Schwalmwhitework. e teve a amabilidade de escrever uma mensagem sobre isso (leiam o blog ou subscrevam a newsletter que não se arrependem com o que ela ensina!)
And I just gave her only two pieces of linen of Guimarães. :(
By the way a while ago I sent Luzine Happel pieces of Portuguese linens to assess whether it could be also used to Schwalmwhitework. She was kind enough to write a post about it .(you must read her blog or subscribe to the newsletter: she teaches lots of things!)

A MLB já me deu notícia que também já foi ao Mucifal, Colares, à loja Trapos e Rendas e parece que gostou. Esta é uma loja muito frequentada pela Borboleta Serrana, que vive em Lisboa, mas sempre que pode foge para entre a Serra e o mar de Sintra. A Borboleta Serrana ainda não conheço ao vivo e a cores, mas com tantas amigas em Sintra ainda por lá nos encontramos um dia ;) E a Borboleta Serrana já me deu ideias para a recuperação do bordado da minha Mãe. Obrigada!
Esta entrada já vai longa, já tomei algumas resoluções quanto à recuperação mas ficará para outro dia.

Tenham uma boa semana. Como vêem o Janeiro que costuma ser para mim um mês de muito desânimo, este ano está a correr bem :)

The MLB wrote that she has also been at Mucifal, Colares, at the shop Trapos e Rendas and it seems she liked  it. This is a shop frequented by Borboleta Serrana, who lives in Lisbon, but always she can  escapes to between the Serra de Sintra and the sea.  I don’t know Borboleta Serrana  alive and in color yet, but with so many friends in Sintra we’ll met together there soon ;) And Borboleta Serrana has already given me ideas for repairing  my Mother’s embroidery. Thanks!
This entry is long enough. I’ve made ​​some resolutions regarding the repair but it will be for another day.
