I was inspired by Jo Firth-Young’s masterboard tutorial over on the PaperArtsy Blog this week. I really loved the colours that Jo used, and created a few masterboards of my own, using similar colours and my 5×3 Gelli Plate.

I added some stamped snowflakes from PaperArtsy Emma Godfrey’s stamp set EEG12, using Aquamarine and Carnation Archival Ink. On some sheets I embossed the small snowflake with silver, and on some with white, and on one sheet I stamped the small snowflake with Snowflake Fresco paint. Where the ink of some of the larger snowflakes wasn’t quite dry, you can see that they were partially embossed.

I cut my masterboards into thirty six 4×4 inch squares, and made them into Christmas cards. Nice and flat for posting!
The square card with the die-cut snowflake was inspired by Stamping Matilda’s cards HERE.

These A6 cards were inspired by Leandra and Jo on the challenge post HERE.

I, myself posted some masterboard inspiration on The PaperArtsy Blog last week. If you missed my post, you can see it HERE.
I’m off to write my Christmas cards now 🙂
