I was commissioned to make this card for my husband’s colleague, who is leaving railway maintenance, & going off to do some travelling around the world.

…in my little journal again! Background is a Gelli Plate print. I used a lottery till roll tube to make circles in the paint 🙂
I stamped the circles & phrase from PaperArtsy Emma Godfrey stamp set EEG07 onto an orange spray background, & stamped the scallop border on book page & cut out. Stamped the French phrases (‘time not wasted’ & ‘best times’) over the page with black archival ink.

I spent a lovely day Gelli printing with my friend Hazel yesterday. We both made a multitude of prints, using mainly Kaiser colour Eco-Friendly acrylics. Our favourite colours seemed to be Lake and Pistachio 🙂
I found this gorgeous Dawn Hauser Inkadinkado stamp in one of my many boxes of rarely used wooden stamps, stamped it with Stream Adirondak ink, then embossed with Stardust EP. I also used some silver mirror card for the first time in a very long while! I think these prints were made with Blue Sky and Antique White.
You can see the sparkle of the Stardust EP in this close up I took with the flash…
Have a creative weekend,

Painful hands have stopped me from playing again this week, but they seem to have eased off a bit today, so out came the paints for some playtime in my small Andy Skinner class journal.
Pure art therapy, grabbing some PaperArtsy Fresco paint colours that inspired me, then just going for it! I used Banana, London Bus, Paprika, Hey Pesto, & Snowflake (undercoat for the Hey Pesto). The quote is a Finnabair stamp.

I’m on a health kick now, trying to get my white cells & immune system back up with zinc, magnesium, vit B etc. etc. Plenty of fruit & more exercise walking. Here’s hoping…
Have a good week everyone!
