I'm thinking about running a post-apocalyptical game set after the eruption of yellowstone. I have grey planes, southern states forming a confederation, frozen northern states and a neo-apache empire in mind. Any ideas on that? Are you pro real (native) american folklore or should there be no fantasy in your opinion? Also post Mad-Max like cars here.
Käfer.

I did this (Yellowstone Caldera Eruption) as a goto for pickup games. I’m not a fan of fantasy in my post-apoc.Some things I did that I thought added a bunch - Stole from Champions the notion of a destroying Detroit, allowing a rebuilt city resilient to natural disasters to the center of civilization.US pop culture and brands bleeding into the local culture (Dorito as a viable surname for example).Ubiquitous franchises off the interstate being moved into (for example, the gang of raiders claiming all Cracker Barrels as their turf.Pretty much embracing American trash culture.
