How do you make your own tissue foil? I glue one nose-blowing tissue layer on both sides of aluminium foil, but the resulting paper is easily torn, flimsy and, most importantly, has a poor creasing behaviour. Reversing fold orientation is hard, especially in reverse folds where it must be done on the spot. When running the fingernail over a fold to sharpen it, it's easy to tear though the tissue, and when a fold is unfolded, it sticks out strongly. To flatten it I must run my fingernail over it, but then it almost disappears. What are your tips for making good tissue foil? Is the glue I use a factor? I use Herlitz paper glue (red cylinder).
>>558497Tissue paper isn't actually the paper used to make tissue (nose blowing paper). It's some kind of art paper, extremely thin (usually 15-25g/sm) and sometime used in fancy packaging. Just google tissue paper on google. I could give you the name of the paper in different langages if you want.Glue is a factor, i would recommend some spray glue like the one you would use for photo mounting. But other people use other types of glue, the important thing is that is work for you. The advantage of using spray glue is that it doesn't wet the tissue paper.
Use pva glue. Using spray glue will make the paper thicker and won't feel like a "single sheet"
>>558505Is it perchance called ‘hârtie creponată’ or ‘hârtie cerată’ in Romanian?
>>558517So what you want is "tissue paper" In other language it's Papier de soie seidenpapierzijdepapierpapel de sedacarta velinapic related
>>558522hârtie creponată is some other kind of paper and it is NOT what you want. The english word for it is "crepe paper" and this paper is crumpled while tissue paper is bought not crumpled.I didn't find the word in romanian, you could try google translate.
Hey, I'm new to papercraft in general and wanted to get into it because I've seen some of the things people have posted on here. I've downloaded Pepakura Designer 4 and I was hoping someone knew of any models I could work on that would be easy enough for me but still look really cool.I noticed someone made a skull mask... thing and wanted to work my way up to making one of them one day, as well as some of the dragon skulls and things I've seen. If you have any links to nice models can you please leave them in a comments? I'm not at all interested in making the little box people that seem to be everywhere either. It would be greatly appreciated.
>>557704Lol this is the most autistic picture I've ever seen. I'm glad I came to this board.
>>557704You really need to color in the backside of her hair.
>>557746Glad to be of service. You're gonna love how the raptor comes out then. It's proving to be reasonably...demented. >>557748That was from 6 years ago. She needs a hell of a lot more than a dye job I assure you.
>>557856
>>557507look up some stuff called gessoi think it's used for like canvasses or somethingi used it to add durability to some geometric ball thing, paints on and dries almost like spackle but for paper or something it's witchcraft as far as i'm concerned
I need help picking some next models to fold and am super bored. I have all the tanteidan books so I could in theory do anything from there (except the crazy Satoshi creations)
Drop some .pdf or some photos please
>>558420Start from the 1st model of the 1st book you have, and go from there to the last model of the last book you have.
I have searched all over for these 7 small figures to download to make. I saw them on a paper craft type website. It was a well-known one. Does anyone know where you can get them? Thank you very much.
these are figures made with a 3d chat thing on facebook (don't know if still there), you had to of collect a couple hundred coins to unlock the edit and download any person design you like. These were made by the Pokemon papercraft guys for themselves don't think they actually ever posted them anywhere. sorry good luck

Took me a bit but found it. BuddyPoke, but is no longer on facebook. Yet, they turned it into an app, the 3d models are a downgrade i think of what they were, but they can still be edited to your liking, ENJOY!!!!!https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buddypoke.buddypoke&hl=en
Hey /po/, I'm a poorfag and I just want to know if it's possible to create Kamiya Satoshi's origami Phoenix using only an 8 x 8 bondpaper.
>>558459Just reread my post, there are cheap options for origami papers. A big roll of kraft paper cost like 2-3$ and you can use it to make origami for dozens and dozens of hours, making this hobby only costing you a few cents per hours. If you can afford to eat and to have internet you can afford origami.
>>558460the brown paper you're thinking of is called kraft paper.
>>558456YOUTELL MEIS 6X6 OK PAPER FOR A BEGINNER
>>558463i've never seen it listed as such IRL, but okay>>558467both 6 inches and 6cm would be ok to practise with as a beginner, but not for this model.
>>558470I apologize for being rude master
are there models out there that are similar to pepatama's diorama series?i'm mostly looking for>oil drums>crates>concrete barricades>traffic cones>puzzle piece style terraini'm a complete outsider to papercraft, but 8 dollars for a couple crates seems overpriced
From the old site
That's all folks !
>>558160thank u for posting all of that even though nobody responded
You're welcome
yeah! merci beaucoup !
Anyone else here enjoy making origami out of otherwise perfectly good money and making it otherwise worthless when used as a tip?
>>557806how is it worthless ? the waitress just have to unfold it. I don't do it because i don't live in europe so 5€ for a small shitty sheet of origami is way to much. Also the proportions are not the same. But i sometimes fold moneygami with regular origami paper, pic related.
>>557809>I don't do it because i don't live in europe so 5€ for a small shitty sheet of origami is way to much.I meant to say "I don't do it because i live in europe", sorry.
>>557806there's a neat origami tshirt design that works in euro bills, I also sometimes make an origami vagina out of a bill as a joke gift
Hi if anyone with good photoshop skills could help me make this (pic related)I will print the model and post the picturesI just need someone to cut out the needed partsMore detail in picture below

I've always been interested in playing those tabletop games with figures like Warhammer and all that, but I never could afford to. It only came to me that I could make papercraft models to play them.Could you guys recommend me tabletop games that were made specifically for papercraft models? Or some links to games that have been adapted into papercraft.

Hey, I've been wanting to build the Road Roller and DIO's coffin for awhile now, but since the instructions are in Japanese, I feel like I'll mess up. That, and I'm a visual learner. Is there anyway someone could upload a video making the two or someone help me out in the steps? Thanks in advance.
>>558354I don't speak japanese, but I'll try and google translate it.
>>558356Alright. I look forward to it.
