I've been diving deep into Tarot recently. Particularly the paychological significance of the Tarot and how the Tarot relates to Jung's idea of Archytypes. What's some good material to read in that regard?

Pic somewhat related: I got high and meditated, and this formation kind of formed itself. Is there any significance? I have my opinions on it but would like to know yours.

The way of the magi is not as it seems when the hanged man walks

OP I hope you see my post...I use cards a differant way, I carry a deck in my pocket at all times.

I use them as personality triggers, depending on what is ahead of me...Job Interview, Date, Test, Fight...I choose a card that I feel would best suit the situation.

I then view the cards image and channel its meaning, almost like having differant personality/head space on demand.

Try it OP, it is 1000% more powerful and usefull way of using the deck.

Interesting you bring up the Hanged Man. While I was doing this I felt a great fear of the Hanged Man, insofar as I felt my subconscious screaming at me to beware of him/it. I find his image intimidating and reviling.

Any idea what that means?

I really dig that. I could see that working for me quite well. Almost like a means of visualizing an ideal and then getting in the head space of that ideal. I'm going to try that. Thank you.

You got it, I have been using "The Fool" for when I over think and come close to psyching myself out, It lets me breeze threw the situation without a care in the world.

Become the cards meaning for whatever situation you feel said card would apply to for (You).

Be careful tho, its like having a pocket full of physical Tulpas.

Who in here bought their own cards?

I actually worked at a Goodwill as a donations sorter and somebody had donated them. I felt compelled to steal them for myself so I did.

I then bought another deck at a flea market that I only use for analyzing purposes (bigger images) and a "native american" version from a used bookstore that's pretty much bullshit but has cool art.
