I need some kind of anthropology (?) atlas of human morphological diversity, focused mainly on craniofacial characteristics. Something that depicts and associates facial features with places, ethnicities, cultures etc. I want to be able to draw nationalities accurately, so when I depict Zambians meeting Finns in my space opera the Finns and Zambians watching to be viscerally aware that those are their compatriots.

Hate feeling like a hack, reusing the more stereotypical types for dozens of different peoples.

>only ethnicity

spoken like a true 'murcan

Genetic admixtures will propagate along cultural or geographic lines even if they're not acknowledged on an ethnic level. Specific morphological types can be scattered among overall weakly associated gene pools. Sometimes they're remnants of some old distinct population, either migrant or aboriginal (which isn't just a name for Australians if you're wondering), but they long since ceased to constitute a group of any kind. Sometimes its a singular adaptation, like a nose bridge shape thats advantageous enough to pop up every now and then.

And all real nations are ethnic. The rest are state-crafted delusions, existing only in brief transience.

>>3227718

Yeah, thanks but I've seen it many times. its horribly vague and inaccurate. I need good quality sketches in the very least.
>>

I bought (and borrowed from the library) a lot of watercolor books. But the only one I ever liked and fall back on is "The Watercolor book by David Dewey' This books is also the favorite on the handprint website. Check this site out if you do not know it yet. http://www.handprint.com/HP/WCL/water.html It is filled with info about watercolor, not just color-pigments but also on books.
There is a youtube website dedicated to watercolor. It is great for beginners: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCv6GKopxZztw6EqG6OoIGCQ

As for gouache I have not found any book interesting. The only tutorial I ever liked was Bob Kato's painting the head lessons. Seeing this video a few years ago got me back into painting. The videos are easy to find on the web.

You also now can find lessons from the Jeffrey Watts Atelier. His Gouache painting classes are fantastic! Accept for his constant saying the same things over and over and over and over. But still seeing him building up a gouache painting is very educational. You can find these lessons on cgpeers.

That book teaches how to draw all kind of mechanic things (don't be deceived by the manga cover, just ignore parts about robots)

Anything with Leyendecker, please. Preferably books that contain the arts rather than study.

leyendecker draws such beautiful people
he must be bisexual or something
>>
>>3231093
he's gay mang. if you look at his works you can see that there's a recurring face of a man. that's because he used his partner as the model most of the time
>>
>>3231143
he is also the model for this. but who cares. look at that delicious colors hmmmm

does anyone have How to Draw Manga Vol. 4: Mastering Bishoujo Characters?
Or any others of the How-to-draw that aren't in the 'various links' sticky.
>>
Is there a place to download the Ctrlpaint videos that aren't in the pastebins/mega in the OP?
