She is missing out on all the glitzy events at Cannes Film Festival this week - but Gigi Hadid put on a show of her own on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old model transformed a cobbled street in New York into her own private runway as she strutted out of her apartment in a stylish ensemble.

Sashaying down a road in her Noho neighbourhood, Gigi modeled a snug grey crop top and beige COS culottes that drew attention to her tiny waist.

She teamed them with some metallic grey brogues.

The outfit was perfectly coordinated as she added grey-trimmed sunglasses, a thin matching belt and carried a chic purse in the same hue.

The star was later seen heading to a store to organize a little art project for herself.

The model and a pal stopped in at Color Me Mine pottery studio, where you can decorated an assortment of items.
