Newly single Emma Roberts looks sullen as she is seen for the first time since second split with Evan Peters

It was recently reported that she has split with on/off boyfriend Evan Peters.

So it comes as no surprise that Emma Roberts did not look in the best spirits on her latest outing.

The 25-year-old actress was spotted looking glum while out and about on Melrose in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The Scream Queens actress kept her eyes hidden behind a pair of designer shades and had her head down while walking around the highly-popular shopping area.

Emma was dressed comfortably for the solo outing as she sported a green and white jacket over a blue graphic T-shirt for a flight school.

She also sported skinny ripped black jeans along with low-top Converse All-Stars as she accessorised with a beige tote bag.

The niece of Julia Roberts wore her newly-dyed auburn locks flowing down over her shoulders as she went make-up free.

The outing comes just days after the report that she and 29-year-old actor Peters are no longer an item.

She and the X-Men star reportedly split for the second time, having previously called off their engagement last summer.

The split was amicable and the two remain friends, according to a Tuesday report from Us Weekly.

They started dating in the Spring of 2012 after meeting on the set of Adult World and quickly became engaged around Christmas 2013.

Emma and Evan called it quits for the first time in June 2014 but rekindled their romance just two months later.

They hit a rough patch in their relationship in July 2013 when Emma was taken into custody in Montreal after getting into a fight with her then beau.

The two were said to be hitting each other when police responded to a report of a disturbance.

Emma was arrested because Evan had obvious physical injuries, a source told TMZ.

The two also co-starred in seasons three and four - Coven and Freak Show - of anthology series American Horror Story; Peters has appeared in all five seasons so far.
