She is used to wearing the latest haute couture creations and rarely puts a fashion foot wrong.

And Erin O'Connor certainly proved she knows how to put together a stylish ensemble as she attended David Downton's couture archive exhibition at Claridge's on Friday.

The 38-year-old former model looked effortlessly elegant in a pastel pink fur jacket and matching printed silk shirt.

She completed the classy outfit with black cut-off trousers and shiny silver monk strap shoes with an on trend chunky sole.

To accessorise, Erin opted for a pared back black leather clutch and an understated gold ring on her right hand.

Her jet black hair was worn in a simple style, pulled back, highlighting her flawlessly made up face.

She was joined by fashion artist David Downton, 56, whose illustrations were on display at the Assouline boutique at the renowned Mayfair hotel.

Dapper Downton, who is Claridge's artist in residence, wore a smart navy suit teamed with a crisp white shirt and casual scarf.

The pair posed for photographs with Virginia Bates, who previously ran an upmarket antiques shop in Notting Hill.

She wore a striking multicoloured printed floral dress paired with a shimmering light gold jacket and a small black bag.

The exhibition, which takes inspiration from Downton's time at Paris Haute Couture shows and styles from Chanel, Dior and Saint Laurent, runs until May 28.
