Sofia Richie flashes midriff in knotted sweater and high-waisted jeans for shopping trip in Beverly Hills

Sofia Richie showed off her relaxed style on low-key shopping trip on Tuesday.

The model gave a glimpse of her stomach in white sweater knotted in the front as she stopped by Barneys New York in Beverly Hills.

The stylish 17-year-old wore a baggy white sweater pushed up over her elbows and tied in the front.

The model, who is the daughter of singer Lionel Richie and sister of Nicole Richie, looked relaxed as she indulged in some retail therapy at the upscale store.

Sofia added distressed jeans with a high waist, which she rolled up at the cuffs.

She added comfortable white, black and peach sneakers, and accessorized with a pink velvet choker.

Sofia covered up in large sunglasses, and left her long blonde hair down over her shoulders.

The teenager, who is the face of Madonna's Material Girl clothing, added a black handbag, flashed a matching black manicure as she waited for the valet.

The model, who is dating boyfriend Jake Andrews, added a gold watch and silver ring.

And while she is becoming a familiar face at Hollywood hot spots, Sofia revealed that Nicole, who has been open about her past heroin addiction, had warned the teen not to give in to pressure to take drugs.

Nicole, who is now married to rocker Joel Madden and has two children, always told her younger sister: 'Don't let people pressure you to do what they think is cool, like taking drugs. Be true to yourself,' Sofia told Evening Standard in March.

'Nicole was crazy and fun,' Sofia said.

'She would take me to places I wasn't supposed to go to, like fairs, and she would let me have foods that I wasn't allowed to eat, like cotton candy,' she said.
