Dollar Heads for Quarterly Loss

Investors are watching economic data and Fed comments for signals on potential interest-rate moves

The dollar was on track to decline against a basket of peers in the third quarter as investors continue to question whether U.S. interest-rates will rise this year.

The WSJ Dollar Index, which measures the U.S. currency against 16 others, was recently down 0.1%. That would put the index down about 0.5% for the quarter ending today.
