Syrian Arab Army continued on Monday its operations against the armed terrorist organizations in different areas of the country, directing heavy strikes upon them and killing scores of terrorists.

Army units continued carrying out operations against terrorist organizations in Jobar area in Damascus Countryside, uncovering a network of tunnels connecting a number of buildings in the area.

A military source told SANA that the tunnel network is around 200 meters long, and that one of the tunnels terminated in a small chamber where terrorists kept abductees who were forced to carrying out digging, while two other tunnels terminated in bases where the terrorists planned their operations.

The source said that many terrorists who were holed up in the tunnels were eliminated.

Earlier on January 2nd, the army uncovered a similar tunnel network in Jobar which was around 600 meters long.

Units of the army and the armed forces on Sunday (21/12/2013) continued to tighten the noose around terrorists through launching wide-scale military operations against them across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Units of the army and the armed forces killed and injured scores of terrorists in Mar’ian, Ihsem, around al-Arba’een mountain, M’artamsarin, Hmeimat al-Daer, al-Debshiyeh, Abu al-Duhour and Sarmin in the countryside of the northern province .

Military operations on Saturday have left increasing numbers of terrorists killed and others wounded during targeting their dens and gatherings in some areas and repelling their infiltration attempts in others.

Positions and hideouts of the terrorists were hit in during army operations in the villages of Khsheir, al-Zahabiyeh, Tal al-Touqan, al-Debshiyeh, Talab, Biyaa al-Kabira and al-Mistriheh in the surrounding of Abu al-Duhour Airport in the countryside of the northern province of idleb.

12/12/2014 – Terrorist organizations suffered extremely heavy losses during army operations on Friday with them losing large numbers of their members and having their heavy weapons and equipment destroyed, including car bombs and vehicles loaded with weapons and munitions.

Syrian Arab Army units killed a large number of terrorists and destroyed 4 car bombs, 5 vehicles equipped with anti-aircraft guns, 2 vehicles loaded with ammo and a cache including a huge amount of explosives, mines and explosive devices in Tafas town in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa.

11/12/2014 – Army continues tightening noose around terrorists across the country. Units of the Army and Armed Forces on Thursday continued to tighten the noose around foreign-backed terrorist groups in several areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

The army carried out a series of military operations against dens and gatherings of terrorists in Eastern al-Ghouta, al-Qalamoun Mountains and Darya, killing scores of terrorists, some of them of Libyan nationality.

The army killed many terrorists in Joubar, among them al-Hadi al-Sabrati, from Libya, after destroying a den for them near the sport Hall.

Meanwhile, the army destroyed one of the terrorists’ dens in Misraba, near Harasta, killing many of them, including Abu Mohammad al-Iraqi.

The Army destroyed a convoy of tanks loaded with stolen oil in al-Shoula in the southern desert of Deir Ezzor, killing several terrorists of Daesh in the old airport and Haweja in Deir Ezzor and its countryside.
