Syrian Arab army units continued to raid the mercenary-terrorist gangs’ hideouts and positions in many areas across the country, killing and injuring scores of their members

The army and the Lebanese resistance continued operations in Zabadani city in Damascus Countryside and blockaded the armed terrorist groups in a 1 square kilometers area.

8 terrorists, including two groups’ leaders, surrendered to authorities.

The army’s air force targeted movements of terrorists in the villages of al-Baraghiti, Hmeimat, Khsheir and Tal al-Louz in the vicinity of Abu al-Duhour airport in the southeastern countryside of the northern Idleb province.

The terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of the terrorist Maher al-Tamer and some of his group’s members, while 13 Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were reported killed in an explosion that targeted the so-called “Judiciary House” of the organization in Salqin in the countryside of Idleb province.

Army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, resumed on Saturday operations against terrorist organizations in al-Zabadani city which is located around 54km northwest of Damascus city.

A military source told SANA that the operations resulted in establishing control over a number of areas in al-Hikma area in the eastern part of the city after eliminating hotspots of terrorists and destroying their weapons and munitions.

The army units defending Abu al-Duhour Airport in the southeastern countryside of Idleb province, assisted by the Air Force, repelled an attempted attack by terrorist groups, most of them from Jabhat al-Nusra.

A military source said the Air Force carried out airstrikes on terrorists’ concentrations and vehicles in the surroundings of the airport, killing a large number of them and destroying their weapons and vehicles.

Earlier, an army unit killed at least 46 terrorists and destroyed an armored vehicle and a 23 mm caliber gun in a special operation against terrorists’ positions in al-Sayyed Ali area in Old Aleppo.

Numbers of terrorists of the so-called “al-Jabha al-Shamiyeh” and “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” were also killed and many weapons and ammunition were destroyed during army operations in the neighborhoods of al-Rashidin, Bab al-Hadid, al-Kastillo, al-Lairamoun, Bani Zaid, Bustan al-Basha and Bustan al-Qassr in Aleppo city.

The Syrian ground and air forces, in a joint counter-assault operation, pushed back the terrorists of al-Nusra Front from Abu al-Dhuhour airbase’s nearby areas, informed sources said.

The Syrian ground forces and defenders of Abu al-Dhuhour airbase confronted massive offensive of the Nusra Front militants to capture the airbase, and then in a counter-attack pushed them back and killed dozens of them.

The Syrian warplanes also destroyed hideouts of terrorists from “Al-Fateh Army” terrorist in the surrounding areas of Kheshir, al-Majas, and al-Bwayder in Abu al-Duhour Area.

The Syrian Army’s 87th Brigade of the 11th Tank Division alongside the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) launched another offensive in the Al-Ghaab Plains to recapture the territory they lost three days ago to the conglomerate of al-Qaeda affiliates “Jeish Al-Fateh”.

Tens of DAESH (ISIS, ISIL) terrorists were killed in the Syrian warplanes airstrikes in the city of al-Qaryatain in Homs province.

Meantime, a Syrian army unit targeted a convoy of vehicles used by DAESH in the area surrounding al-Zakara valley in Palmyra’s countryside, destroying a number of vehicles and killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
