Education -- I believe every Massachusetts resident has a right to high-quality, affordable public education from pre-K through college. We must stop the attacks on public education, such as high-stakes testing and attempts to lift the charter cap.

Health Care -- I believe access to high-quality physical and mental health care is a basic human right, and we must provide the resources and support to take on issues like the opioid crisis.

Economic Growth -- I will introduce and support new legislation that makes Leominster’s economy stronger. We must create opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurial success, while still advancing workers' rights.

Women’s Rights -- We need to strengthen our pay equity law, maintain access to comprehensive health care, and eliminate all forms of gender discrimination.

LGBTQ Equality -- I will work hard to make sure we have adequate policies and legislation to support the myriad of issues facing our LGBTQ community, including youth homelessness, elders aging, and nondiscrimination protections for transgender people.

The Opioid Crisis -- Addiction is a disease that affects not only individuals, but their families, and the community. I will support legislation that addresses the root causes of the opioid crisis, such as access to rehabilitative services and the regulation of prescription opiates.[1]
