Learn It and Use It

Pros:

I can not state more clearly that Mindbody is the leader in what they do. They have their faults because of the way it was designed originally but they are working on those every day but no system on the market is better. I have a feeling that a couple years from now, they be much larger than what they even are now.

Cons:

the old design structure of the base platform could use some updates, which they are aware of

Wonderful Capabilities for Larger Operations, Too Pricey for the Smaller Business

Comments: It was a wonderful system that met all of my scheduling and reporting needs. It's fast, and has the capability to track anything and everything via it's reporting systems. Huge advantage!

Pros:

This software does it all and has amazing customer service. Once implemented into my business things worked very smoothly. Online booking, scheduling, on the go access to business information and detailed reporting features made this software wonderful!

Cons:

The price kept going up and it was already on the high end. There were a lot of functions I didn't need as a massage therapy business. It could also be complicated to use for my therapists. It was lacking integrated email marketing which I was paying for separately, further driving my monthly costs up.

Lots of features

Pros:

There are a lot of features and the app is great for gaining new clients

Cons:

The cost is a bit high in comparison to other companies especially if you don’t rely on gaining clients from the app. Customer service isn’t that great either

Well known scheduler, but not great for kids services

Comments: When using it as an instructor at multiple yoga studios, it works ok for signing in adults students to class and collecting payment. It is not however good for anything beyond that including buying a class for a friend or signing up multiple members of a family. (By the client that is, everything is possible using the instructor's login and manually performing these functions.)

Pros:

Clients are generally familiar with it already.

Cons:

This is not the ideal scheduler to have if you have parents wanting to sign up multiple kids for classes. It also charges extra for each location so if you travel to different locations to host classes and events, this quickly becomes cost prohibitive.

The Easiest Way to Schedule Yoga

Comments: Extremely positive.

Pros:

Mindbody is simple and intuitive to use. I can what classes are available for any day of the week. All I have to do is say "book" and I'm taken to the booking page and voila! I'm booked for the yoga class. My favorite thing about Mindbody is that I can "Add Class to Calendar" and it will automatically add it as an event on my phone calendar. This makes keeping my schedule and doing yoga classes in between meetings a breeze.

Cons:

There is a small glitch that happens once in a blue moon with the membership tracking.
