News Iron Factory has shared new promo photos of Wing of Tyrant, their iteration of Starscream for their line of Legends-size figures. The figure looks very highly detailed - so much that it would be hard to tell it's a small scale figure if not for the size of the hand openings. The photos include coronation gear and a Megatron pistol, showing a good accessory loadout. This figure is more based on some IDW interpretations of the G1 Starscream design, and naturally, Thundercracker and Skywarp are to follow. The pictures are mirrored below, click through and take a look! Diecast of Radio Free Cybertron has posted his review of Toyworld Assault, their take on Masterpiece Thrust! He's taken a comprehensive look at this impressively large alternative to Masterpiece Thrust, which towers over even MP Starscream. And it even comes with a very large and impressive stand! Keep reading to have a look. FansToys has shared a small gallery on Facebook featuring the prototype for their Hoodlum figure, based on Hot Rod. Joining their ever-growing lineup of Masterpiece-scale figures, Hoodlum represents a potential alternative to the already existing official MP Hot Rod. One photo indicates this will come with a Targetmaster partner figure in addition to the standard rifles. The prototype is shown in robot and vehicle modes, and uses FansToys not-Kup and not-Springer for some group shots to show relative scale. We have the photos mirrored, so click through to see! We've got another review video from diecast on the RFC Reviews channel, talking about Downbeat from Maketoys. Downbeat is one of a surprisingly small assortment of unofficial Masterpiece Jazzes, which bring slightly different ideas to the table. Downbeat seemingly isn't perfect, though it presents as more a collection of small problems than any one significant one. You can see the details of vehicle and robot modes, and the lengthy, but honestly pretty nice looking transformation process in between. The review is embedded below, so go ahead and watch right now. Changing gears a bit tonight, diecast from Radio Free Cybertron has posted a new video to the RFC Reviews channel showing off a testshot of Arch Enemy, the first figure in the Master Builder series from new group Fans Hobby. Despite being a testshot piece, the review demonstrates good design and build quality overall with an appropriately simple transformation. And about twice the volume of the original official Robots in Disguise Scourge toy! We've embedded the review below, so go ahead and take a look! The Transform Mission not-Menasor project has been pushing along for quite a while, though a bit quietly recently. But to break that trend, a new gallery of photos have been released showing a full color copy of Powertrain, the set's requisite Motormaster-alike. The very G1 influenced vehicle mode becomes a robot taking cues more from earlier IDW comics, but not straying terribly far off the "classic" look. We've got the full gallery mirrored, so click through to see it now! Toyer City on Facebook have posted a first look image at the Toyworld C11-C15 combined mode forming the unofficial Bruticus team. The unpainted figure is show in comparison with the ToyWorld TW-C07 Constructor that is slated for a May release. The combined figure looks to be every as good as their former efforts and surely will be looking even better when we see it in color. What is not known yet is if this image indicated a set release or individuals, and hopefully in G1 colors out of the gate. Preorders should open soon to reveal more.
Just in are new in-hand images of the ToyWorld TW-M01 Primorion. The figure is an unoffiical remake of the original MP-1 Convoy that is looking quite relaxed and colorful in his original self.
The figure stands 11 inches in robot mode and comes armed with an axe and blaster. The TW-M01 Primorion transforms from robot to a big rig cab. Is now on preorder with estimate to arrive 1st Quarter 2017 at a current price of $129.99 USD now at bigbadtoystore.com The R-17CS Continuum Add-On Set is for the R-17 Carnifex figure. This kit includes two 3.5cm tall Millifex and Billifex pilots of the jet and tank that combine to form Carnifex. Millifex and Billifex transform to engines and plug into Carnifex's chest in robot mode. An alternate head and 2 pieces of snap-on chest armor will give Carnifex an updated look. Plug the 6 cannons in to the base mode for enhanced firepower. |

TFCToys' Weibo Page has posted the final color images of upcoming combiner limbs Warning Line, better known as Protectobot Groove, and Aethon, better known as Predacon Tantrum. These figures will form legs for Prometheus/Defensor and Ares/Predaking. See the pictures below! FPcore have updated their site with the backstory fiction for their Recoiler and Riftshot characters that are part of the FPcore Project Ground Hammer. Get the insights on who and where these new characters came from with profile information on both of the Twins below for the full preview now. Wanted to let people know that KFC are sending out free replacements for the problem-ridden guns for their Ironpaw and Nightstalker figures. Good on them for fixing this issue! "Hey! Fans of KFCTOYS. We tested the new shoulder cannon for Ironpaw ,and put up a video of how it works just with your nail to rotate it out. This new shoulder cannon will be shipped to the retailers very soon.including silver for CST-02J and metal gray for CST-02NS." UPDATE. Dr. Wu just posted a poll on his weibo page, with numbers 1 to 9 and the following instructions (translated from Chinese with google): "MP police shoulder cannon made some settings, please vote choice, choose up to three per person." So it looks these cannons are for Masterpiece Prowl, and he's asking the fans to choose the three designs he will make. Post your favorites in the comments below.

Videos Japanese speaking YouTube reviewer Wotafa has just released his review of Demonicus Prominon, Mastermind Creation's Nemesis Prime-themed recolor of Seraphicus Prominon, their unofficial Nova Prime. Besides being impressively large, the figure - an exclusive to the Singapore Toy, Game, & Comic Convention - sports the always attractive "Nemesis" color scheme as well as a lot of vac-metal. Man, handle with care... keep reading to see the review! Paik4Life has posted a video to Youtube showing off the testshot build of MMC's Carnifex figure that was on display at Cyber City Con last weekend. This long awaited figure based on IDW's interpretation of Overlord is shown off in robot and vehicle forms, though the transformation was not allowed to be filmed. However, the video gives a good overview of this huge figure, showing off its articulation and details in particular. We have that video embedded for you, so click through to watch it! The latest work from harrisloureiro has just been posted to Youtube. This time the skilled stop motion animator presents a fight between Warpath, as played by Badcube's Wardog, and Astrotrain using DX9's Chigurh. We're always really happy to see new works from this producer, and this latest video certainly does not disappoint - except maybe that the video doesn't run longer! We have it embedded below, so click through and enjoy! A video has been posted showing the process of upgrading Combiner Wars Devastator with parts from a testshot of the X2Toys add on. Interestingly while providing almost entire new forearms and hands, the kit still calls for the original wrist plates to be used with the new parts. Otherwise everything seems a simple matter of snapping pieces on during the combination process. The video was originally posted to the Miaopai service, but we've mirrored it to Youtube for easy viewing. Click through to watch! A video was posted to Weibo by a user we haven't been able to identify just yet, showing a somewhat large figure based on Beast Wars Dinobot. Going by the way it's designed, we're assuming this is the work of an unofficial group, but right now any conclusion is complete speculation. The video is now mirrored to Youtube for easier viewing, and we've got it embedded below, so click through and take a look.[ More Videos ] |
