Perceptor goes to considerable lengths to recreate as much of the experience of the G1 toy as possible. From having a working (kind of) microscope mode, to a third mode one might describe as a tank - even though that one goes undocumented for the retail release - a lot of effort was expended. That gives it an unusually high play value, but also makes some things go a bit strange. Hasbro's website has uploaded a new listing page for the upcoming Platinum Edition Year of The Rooster Optimus Prime. The figure, a reuse of the Hybrid Style Convoy figure from about ten years ago, is only about 4 inches tall, but comes with a whack of accessories to fill out package space. Importantly, the new listing reveals the US market MSRP as being $99.99, which while still probably a bit high for what it is, does come in under some estimates based on pricing in other locations. Our final gallery for Titans Return Deluxe Wave 4 is now live! Topspin may not be a Jumpstarter anymore, but still features an enjoyably quick transformation. There are some things to take note of, which of course we'll cover in the review very soon. This copy of Topspin shows stress marks on the hands from inserting the weapon posts - particularly the combined weapon, so do be careful there. It's a shame too, this is the best executed combining Babyseat Cannon so far otherwise! We have over 150 photos of Topspin, including comparisons with a third party equivalent mold. In my recent review of Titans Return Kup, I speculated about how a TakaraTomy deco might help improve the figure. Xavier Basa seems to have had a similar idea, repainting a Titans Return Kup in a much more cartoon inspired way. He's shared the results on Twitter, and it's an impressive makeover, showing some of the potential hidden within the figure in its natural state. We don't know if this is what an eventual Legends series Kup will look like - but we can sure hope! Check out both photos in full down below.

I'll cover that in more detail in the review, which will be coming very soon. I'll also explain the tank mode, which goes entirely undocumented in the instructions and packaging. With not even a hint of US-based retailers offering preorders so far, we're starting to get confirmed sightings of Titans Return Wave 4 hitting brick and mortar stores in North America. First up is Voyager Broadside which has been found in a Toronto Walmart. Canada has previously been a little ahead with numerous sightings of Leader Sixshot. On the US side, Walgreens are starting to receive Deluxe wave 4, with a photo-verified find of Perceptor, and several more reports of others in the assortment. It's the start of wave 4's new molds! And Kup is the one I care least about. Which is not because it's a bad toy. It's just mostly not an interesting toy, and I take issue with that. It does have a nice transformation to fall back on at the very least! Jumping to the new molds in Titans Return Deluxe wave 4, our next gallery is Sergeant Kup & Flintlock. The new figure stands out for taking Kup back to the Cybertronic ...or maybe futuristic to 1986? design inspired by the original toy and cartoon. The articulation is above average in some areas, and it has a fairly interesting and different transformation, which I certainly welcome! The deco is the most obvious place it could use some work, though. You can see that and more in our gallery, featuring over 150 photos! Keep reading to get started.

It's the Krok I never knew I wanted. Titans Return Krok is a new-face recolor of wave 1's Skullsmasher (Skullcruncher) with a deco that maps beautifully to the mold while being a fantastic representation of the color layout of the original Action Master. While Krok was always interpreted as having been a spaceship or something of the sort from the details of the original action figure, I suppose nobody can prove he wasn't actually a crocodile or gator "before" being an Action Master. We have nearly 100 photos of the new Krok and his Titan Master Gatorface, so keep reading to get a good look at this new toy!

While we continue waiting for signs of US retailers taking orders, we've got some new pictures of Titans Return Wave 4 via tagoal on Twitter. New pictures include Legends Brawn (featuring a cameo by wave 2 Titan Master Brawn), Roadburn, and Voyager Broadside. While it's doubtful any level of skill in photography could help Broadside's plane mode, overall the photos give a really nice look at these brand new toys which are entering wider availability in Asian markets right now.
