Get up and get moving at our Toddler Story Time! This 20-30 minute program is full of books, songs and fun activities designed to help develop your child’s language skills. Children ages 18-36 months and their grownups are encouraged to engage with the stories and activities and participate in the program.  Space is limited; participants are admitted on a first come, first served basis beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Have a group? Please call ahead of time to arrange a special visit.

Share the fun of reading with your children ages 3-5 years! Children and their grownups will explore stories and activities to encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. This 30-40 minute program is designed to promote language and listening skills, expand children’s imaginations, and arouse their curiosity about the world around them. KnitLit: A Cozy Wintertime Gathering for Knitters and Friends

In addition to time for knitting, sharing projects, and meeting new people, each gather will feature a short audio-piece from our online collections of audiobooks. Our Baby and Toddler Story Time is a great way to introduce your child to language skills in a positive and fun environment. Children and their grownups are encouraged to engage with the books and songs and to actively participate in the program.  Space is limited and admission is on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 9:30AM and story time starts at 9:45AM. Have a group? Please call ahead of time to schedule a special visit.

Let's Communicate in American Sign Language: Beginning Level

February 8 - April 26, 2017: Wednesdays 6-7:15 p.m. Join us in this beginning level class, which covers 100+ ASL vocabulary words and rules of grammar. Review what you know, learn new signs, and practice conversation. Although focus is on beginners, everyone is welcome to join the class, regardless of skill level. The class is FREE.
