And Holly Willouhgby had to fend off the affections of lovestruck Starsky & Hutch star Paul Michael Glaser, 73, on Thursday's installment of This Morning.

The presenter, 36, caught the eye of the Hollywood star, who moved over to sit beside the beautiful blonde, much to everyone's amusement.

Phillip Schofield kicked off the interview segment with Paul and his co-stars David Soul and Antonio Fargas by announcing to viewers: 'Paul Michael Glaser who is flirting with Holly like I have never seen before...'

The cheeky chap replied: 'Well, you only live once!'

The mother-of-three - who is loved-up with husband Dan Baldwin - looked mildly terrified as Paul leaped out of his seat and declared, 'Now we’ve got that out of the way, I’m gonna have a seat over there because that blonde... (whistles)

Paul enthused: 'It's interesting how the show has migrated across the generations.'

David, who is now based in the UK, enthused: 'In the 70s there were only three television channels so it became part of the family.'

Things were equally awkward as the interview drew to a close, with Paul interrupting Holly and Phil as they attempted to close the show.

'Wait a second - we were supposed to say some other stuff!', he said, before turning to Holly and declaring, 'We wanted to say it to you though... to YOU.'

He was then seen walking off set as the credits played, much to everyone's amusement.
