She must have backed a winner! Princess Anne gets VERY animated as she cheers on the riders at Cheltenham

She's had a lifelong association with horse racing, so it's no wonder Princess Anne looked to be in her element as she attended today's Cheltenham festival.
The royal, 66, was clearly in excellent spirits as she cheered on a horse from the VIP spectator area.
It was the second day running the Princess has attended the festival and she looked picture perfect for her outing to the races.

The lifelong equestrian fan looked especially cheerful as she joined the crowds for the third day of Cheltenham
She looked dressed down but elegant in a green tweed midi coat and calf length boots which she teamed with a trilby embellished with a gold flower.
To brighten up her look, she tied a red scarf around her neck and added a gold racing horse brooch to really look the part.
Also in attendance was Anne's daughter Zara, although she was not pictured with her daughter.
The Princess Royal has enjoyed a successful career competing in horse racing and dressage championships, with her first major title coming at the age of 21 when she won at the European Eventing Championship.

She was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 1971, and took part in the 1976 Olympics, held in Montreal, where she rode the Queen's horse as part of the British team.
The royal is also president of the World Horse Welfare organisation.
Her daughter Zara went on to follow in her footsteps, winning silver in the team evening at the London Olympics in 2012.
