annoying, idiotic, unnecessary, pointless, but no, not 'abuse'.

Only on twitter will you find people moaning, not about the weather, but the BBC's coverage of the weather......

and another element - if you are a South American who wants an easy route to immigration in the UK - a Spanish or Italian passport will do it for you. No such luck for those whos heritage indigenous or native peoples.

I see no reason why a Lithuainian (for example) should be given priority in immigration to the UK over a Jamaican or an Indian. No reason at all. But that is what is forced on us by EU regulation.

You do realise that our current arrangement with the EU means priority in immigration is given to white Europeans over others? Maybe read a little on Brexit beyond US media's Trump focused takes

its a ludicrous impractical law which needs to be changed (and as The Times reports elsewhere that is probably going to happen)

Here is why - sadly for those of us who love clean football shirts - sponsors logos won't be disappearing anytime soon:

That's the kind of thing that people will say in surveys - but two points: 1. Not sure that trade, politics, diplomacy operates significantly on likability. 2. Beneath surface 'respect' there is often a more honest attitude. Not sure we really have many 'friends'

The article presumes that Brits were liked before Brexit. We need to lose this illusion of the ‘friends and partners’ as well as the ‘special relationship’.

I've had a few Portrush locals, who know the course, suggest it might be very well suited for Jon Rahm this week.

Its really as simple as this - Americans are at each other's throats every day about Trump. In the UK we have a massive divide over Brexit - but must of us ignore talking about it in public and if we suspect we might disagree someone. We avoid conflict more.

Maybe they saw the abuse Waddle got from Lineker followers when he tweeted about Brexit.....

whereas Klopp gets praised for his stance on the issue. Players aren't daft - and nor are their advisers.

Yeah I get what you are saying. But ask yourself how a player from a working class background would be treated in the media if he spoke openly about being an ardent supporter of Brexit? I'm not surprised they steer clear.
