It's really cool the friends that I get talking to me nowadays about things like the Mueller testimony. Some people who previously would have never been interested in a congressional hearing and under the circumstances have become super tuned in politically.

Also I definitely would've hated school less if I wouldn't have had to be there by 7:20, knowing that coming in a minute late would almost certainly mean some sort of penalty/punishment (another bonkers thing we do: punish students for not getting to school by just after 7am!)

When I was a teacher abroad, school started at 8:55. It ended at 4:15. And they got recess and longer lunches that would never happen in American schools. So I'm not sure why it's so difficult to figure out this schedule.
