You have a lot of questions. Best to ask UEFA or PSG for a response. But in short I have no view on which report is more accurate between, Octagon and Nielsen. The rules suggest a third company should have been hired. I don’t know why that didn’t happen.

Rather find ways around FFP regulations, clubs like City and PSG should have fought to have them scrapped. There are valid arguments to be made that the rules pull up the drawbridge, preventing new entrants from challenging the old order. But so far no sign of that happening.

The club has though renewed in better terms with Nike and signed up Accor Hotels as shirt sponsor. Accor is only 10 percent owned by Qatar, curiously it also counts ex-French president Nicolas Sarkozy on its board. Sarkozy famously convinced Qatar to buy PSG in 2011.

A little extra colour to the PSG FFP affair is the French club told UEFA its strange mega sponsorship with Qatar Tourism will end this year and won’t be renewed. That takes a lot of €€€ off the balance sheet.
