I’m squeaking in this entry to Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist! Such fun!

And then Kelly’s adorable unicorn tag! Gah, so stinkin’ fun!

All is Calm…

Once again, I had to use this great new set from Neat & Tangled, Scandinavian Prints Christmas, designed by my friend Miriam!

hawkins_jill_all-is-calm_00The sparkle from the gold ink and the silver sparkle paper, add such a punch in person. Unfortunately, my photography skills do not nearly capture it in these photos.hawkins_jill_all-is-calm1So cool to make!

My first card was actually this card below, but after I stamped this gold tree, I was all: <3! Hence, I made the card above, which I think is ultimately better overall. 🙂 But I figured I’d finish this one, and share it too!

On This Cold Day…

I’m a big fan of this new Neat & Tangled set, Scandinavian Prints Christmas, designed by my friend Miriam Prantner! Another awesome set, Miriam! 🙂

Hi, There Sunshine

This little bear is just the right thing to deliver some sunshine!

This cutie and the sentiment is from Ellen Hutson’s All Inside stamp and die set. 🙂 hawkins_jill_hi sunshine_wmI colored the sentiment and bear for the #thedailymarker30day challenge and then made it into a full-fledged card. 🙂

Hello Sunshine

Hello Sunshine! Here is one more card for the Ellen Hutson Mix it Up Challenge with Neat & Tangled! I used Neat and Tangled’s Say Yes to Donuts and Ellen Hutson’s All Inside stamp set for this card. You can find my other two cards HERE and HERE. Eeeeep! Love these together! 🙂

hawkins_jill_hello sunshine_wmI almost tossed this card because I did not like the way the inked background turned out. But after a while, I decided it was completely tragic and would still bring sunshine to a mailbox, right? 🙂

hawkins_jill_hello sunshine_00_wmThis card isn’t too different from my first card, because I actually thought to stamp two cards at once! Haaaa! Something I never do, so I was glad. These few stitches took the longest. Because there are so few, they are delicate and pulled out. So that took a couple attempts. Ha!! Of all things. 🙂

I also used a die from My Favorite Things: Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX. 🙂

Love Inside

Here is my second entry for the Ellen Hutson Mix it Up Challenge with Neat & Tangled! For this card, I used Neat and Tangled’s Say Yes to Donuts and Ellen Hutson’s All Inside stamp and die set. Too sweet! 🙂

hawkins_jill_love inside_wmI stamped and masked the LOVE and then finished stamping and colored the images with Copic markers. Simple and fun! 🙂

I was delighted to see the Ellen Hutson Mix it Up Challenge is with Neat & Tangled! I was finally able to make a couple of cards last night for the challenge. Whoot! I used N & T’s Scandinavian Prints and Ellen Hutson’s All Inside stamp and die set. A match made in delightfulness! 🙂

hawkins_jill_hugs_wmThis little bear is just the cutest and I think it is genius that the die cuts him so that he can hold things! Too fun! Mixed with the extremely versatile Scandinavian Prints for a background. I was originally thinking I’d give them stems, and then I decided I liked them just like this. If I did it again, I’d bring them down a bit. 🙂

hawkins_jill_hugs_00_wmI should note that I have NEVER tried no line coloring before! I’m not even sure how I decided to do it here? I was thinking ombré, and then next thing I knew….ha! I never knew how much i relied and on the lines until I tried this. I can’t say that I enjoyed it either. Haaaa! If you want to see no line coloring at its finest, check out my friend Alice’s work HERE. Alice always blows my little coloring mind. 🙂

I also used two dies from My Favorite Things on this card: Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX and the Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX. Staples I tell ya. 🙂
