Lauren Arnold joined the Ballotpedia staff in June 2016 as an assistant staff writer. She earned her bachelor's degree in political science and history from Ashland University in 2009 and her master's degree in politics from Hillsdale College in 2014. Lauren also has a background in nonprofit management and spent two years as an AmeriCorps/VISTA.

Lauren is a native of Northeast Ohio where she resides with her wheaten terrier, Piper. Both Lauren and Piper are fans of Cleveland sports and are especially proud of the 2016 NBA Champion Cavaliers.
