A friend recently adopted a Shih-Tzu, and I’ve become smitten with the breed. When I saw this little cutie in the midst of her beauty treatment, I had to snap a pictue. PetSmart.

Creating a Stir
This little Siberian Husky created quite a following at PetSmart. His beautiful fur and gorgeous eyes stopped people in their tracks. The owner is the gentleman in blue in the foreground. He said the puppy has a personality to match her looks. Another view is here.

It’s a Dog’s Life

ooo-ooo-Beauty
Jon, an Old North Anderson resident and very kind neighbor, shot the above bird this past weekend. Majestic, isn’t she? Also striking is the sound she makes — which allowed us to locate her in the highest part of a Magnolia. After Googling pics of Barn Owls, I have to say, “ours” is quite a beauty. Mastiff
I saw this beauty on Saturday, February 20, when I visited the Carolina First Center in Greenville and the dog show hosted by the Spartanburg Kennel Club. It was a weekend of three shows: the Greenville Kennel Club on Friday, Spartanburg on Saturday, and Hendersonville Kennel Club on Sunday. I love seeing all the dogs — but it is usually so dark, I don’t get good pics. The above sweet Mastiff was still enough for me to get a clear picture. (Another view is here.)
