Adds an external, integrated cloud tier to two-tiered (SSD + HDD) hybrid storage designs. Used for the least active data and cloud snapshot data.
Supports Windows, Hyper-V, VMware, and Linux servers over iSCSI connections.
The StorSimple Manager is an Azure service that integrates with all 8000 series arrays in the enterprise, consolidating all operating parameters and receiving status updates.
* The StorSimple Manager, the StorSimple Virtual Appliance and the other items notated are features of 8000 series arrays only and are not supported with the 5000/7000 series products.
